I loved the tournament. Some may say it didn’t matter but I guarantee had we lost, we would have a looot of concerns right now. This is a good trial sample to see who shows up when it matters, the effort and discipline required. Most of all it builds chemistry and shows the guys that regardless of the role you play you all play for each other. This is definitely a step in the right direction for a long journey ahead. Congrats Lakers!
All the top 20 players in the NBA participated. All the NBA teams had a shot at it. It counts as regular season standing (LA tied for 5th with DENVER, the defending champs). So this right here is a bonafide legit Championship… and then the same teams and players compete towards the Main Championship which is the NBA FINALS. It’s like the US OPEN and the Cincinnati OPEN. They’re both professional tennis championships. One is major and the other is just as competitive. LeBron has added another Championship and MVP during the regular season. Now that’s crazy 😮
