Bulls Insider K.C. Johnson on the Zach LaVine trade rumors:
Trading LaVine is the main organizational focal point for now. In fact, league sources said that, at least for now, [executive vice president Artūras Karnišovas] is responding to inquiries on other players by saying he wants to see what the roster looks like post-LaVine trade first.

Lakers Insider Jovan Buha On Zach LaVine Rumors
In conversations I’ve had in recent weeks regarding the Bulls, there is real interest in Zach LaVine. But I think it comes at the right price.. I’ve actually heard that they’re more interested in DeMar DeRozan and Alex Caruso.

  1. Translation: AK wants to see what he can get for Zach before making any other moves. Makes sense to me. With that contract, he'll be the toughest one to move, so get it done first.

  2. What if we trade Lavine and the team starts playing like a team. Would u still trade everyone away nd get draft picks or keep everyone together rest of season

  3. We are right now in situation where we were with Butler Wade Rondo. LaVine is the only one who had some trade value that could us bring back some draft picks. Vooch and DeRozan worth nithing to be honest. Karnisiovas and Eversly must accept that this plan failed. They need to start over with young pieces find soke good developing staff. My point is on that we had some actually pretty good talented players but none of them developmin the right way. This is the reason why Bulls should improve coaching staff that actually can develop young players. So rebuild trade for a lot ofmpicks and young players develop them like OKC Magic did…

  4. I'm just sick of all this BS! Lavine got paid his money, now he is dissatisfied with Chicago and wants to be traded ! I am so sick of these crybabies being dissatisfied with the coach or team and want to be traded! Man up Lavine and entire Bulls team, start working together as a team, listen to the coaches and start playing like a professional instead of being crybabies !!!! After all you are getting paid very well to compete , so COMPETE LIKE JORDAN DID !!!!

  5. "Continuity" is like a dish… All the ingredients come together to make something delicious. Establishing continuity is a process of stirring those ingredients. When your ingredients are 💩, there's no point in stirring. It's gonna taste like shit in the end…. 😅

  6. Yes very over LaVine! Get him outta there asap! This team is going nowhere this season. He’s showed his loyalty to this team. Let him go to a contender team & and make a run in the playoffs. He deserves it. I love LaVine so it’s better sweet but it’s necessary.

  7. Reeves is having the lebron affect that simple same as plenty of others who played with Bron then fell off the map when they wasn’t playing with him

  8. I think they need a fire sell, either scenario that you just gave will not put the Bulls closer to a title. If Zach is the first or second option the Bulls will never win….. In LA the pressure is off him….

  9. I watched my first full season of Bulls Basketball way back in 1987, all though less fanatical as I was in my youth, I have still have followed the team closely since then. And voiced my opinions often online. This whole mess goes back to a Bulls team featuring Jimmy Butler. The Bulls saw Butler was a head case, and not the kinda player that leads teams to championships. So they sought a trade, and selection for Zach Lavine coming of an ACL repair, a lost Kris Dunn and the number 11 selection in upcoming draft, which they drafted Lauri Markkenen. They have long since gave up hope on Dunn, Allowed Lauri to walk basically, and keep Lavine. Coach Thibs at the time running the T'Wolves, knew Lavine was a money hungry ego maniac, and felt Butler all though quite the diva to handle himself, at least played hard defense. So they trade got done. And Lavine treated Lauri not merely as a rookie, but as competition to his "Favor Player" status.

Management reset from Lauri, They moved off Wendell Carter jr. and Daniel Gafford. To trade with Orlando for Nikola Vucevic, who has been a disappointment since coming, and since then has beefed with Lavine about not sharing the ball. The same can be said for Derozan. I love how all these vlogs, etc are pointing out a recent win, and how Lavine and Derozan were out. This has nothing to do with Demar. Any trade sending Zach Lavine out of Chicago is a positive move, but his value isn't what Bulls management thinks, and they are best to just cut out his cancer at any cost.
