In today's game guys get the big dollars before they've proven themselves. Not everyone can handle that. Zion obviously hasn't been able to. Hopefully, he can turn it around. The dude is still young enough to do it. He's a phenomenal talent. He won't achieve anywhere near his superstar potential if he doesn't put the work in, though.
