    I think there’s an 11th thing that we all sort of understand here, but it’s worth saying out loud after this specific game. $160 million buys more talent than $120 million. The Lakers are built to win now. The Pacers aren’t. All rebuilding teams lose to win-now teams throughout their developmental seasons.

    Two months ago, if anyone told us that the Pacers would go 6-0 in the IST and be within a single possession halfway through the fourth quarter of the championship game, we’d all call that a miracle. And it happened. Without anyone even playing well. This team has made a ton of progress this season.
