10 weeks takes you basically to the All-Star Break, which is about 30-35 games.

I-Hart and Sims’ time to shine.

  2. I’m tired. I’m just so fucking **tired**. It’s like we’re cursed to never have things go our way. I’m fucking **TIRED**.

    Jesus Christ.

It’s very easy to argue that Mitch has been our most important player this year, if not second most important. This team gets bailed out on SO many possessions because he’s the best offensive rebounder in the NBA. 8-10 weeks for a re-evaluation is BRUTAL.

This is absolutely devastating. There’s no way around it…

Kid was having the best season of his career and totally figuring things out. He’s so important to what we do, the entire offense has to change now. I don’t know if Thibs (although I love him) is capable of making such a shift in the middle of the season

For reference, in the 23 games Mitch missed last season, the Knicks went 12-11.

What the fuck. I was fine with IHart taking reps for a bit but did not expect this.

what the fuck? I didn’t even realize he got hurt that bad last game. What happened? I didn’t even see the play where he got hurt

This sucks so hard, but IHart on a contract year, let’s go. And if Sims can give 10-15 of energy every night and we get a couple minutes of small ball we can still hang around.

The issue is how much this changes the identity of the team. Let’s see how Thibs responds.

  9. AWFUL. Mitch was our entire defense… Were also losing the best rebounder in the NBA. Knicks fans will soon realize just how important he was to this squad

    Praying for a full recovery

Fuck this season and fuck the losers in this sub who wanted to replace him

  11. We’re so fucked. Our season is over. Knicks have allowed 60+ points in each of the last 6 halves of basketball, now we lose Mitch for about 3 months. All of that included, our schedule in December is also among the toughest in the league. Unless Brunson and Randle both average 30 for this month it’s over LMFAOOOOOO see y’all next season ✌🏾

I’m calling the trade move right now, we get Vucievic from Chicago

He can hit the 3 ball, has a more developed post game, and is fairly good at the offensive boards

This sucks but remember 10 weeks is March, meaning you still have Mitch for the playoffs

It seems like everyone forgot how injury-prone Mitch can be. That’s the main reason we have iHart there. Time for him to step up.

    SHITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

He was on the verge of making an all-defense team.

    This sucks big time

Hartenstein is more than capable. Simms is less capable, but can play good D in short spurts. This is why we have them. I honestly think we can weather the storm and be okay. The strategy will need to change a bit but I feel confident that iHart and others can step up and play well.

    … Still sucks, though.

  17. And now we will see just how trash Thib’s offensive approach really is

Nightmare. Sims seems like a good kid but he sucks ass. We need to find someone else
