    Who deserves ROTY in your opinion. It’s going to be tough for the actual voters to decide😂. One of the two of them doesn’t get an award they’d win basically every other season

    As much as I agree that comparing Chet at 21 to Wemby at 19 is not fair, I also think people are taking Wemby's future progress for granted. Growth is NOT guaranteed in this league. Wemby still has some skills he needs to polish before he can become a true star, polishing those skills can take years, and he may not ever get those skills up to the level they need to be. Chet, however, has polished skills right now, so even if he stops developing and just stays as he is, he is likely to be a star for years to come.

    I was gonna say, Vic is also leading in usage and shot attempts, which directly contribute to his ppg average.
    And he is first option .

    Wemby is way more popular than Chet, and that should put him ahead of Chet for making the all star. Unless OKC can stay in top 2 seeds, I doubt Chet will even get an honorable mention in the all star race. Though Chet is a defensive force that looks better off paper.

    Wemby is the Spurs defense, but the thing is. Spurs defensive rating is 119.6 last year to 119.4 this year and the major difference is Wemby and Bates-Diop switching place. As opposed to OKC with Chet, OKC defensive rating is 113… Last year To 109… This year. The major change for OKC is Dario Saric to Chet.

Victor going to be better for next year but chet is doing more better this year , his team is doing great to be in the playoffs if they keeping playing that way . They era un the second places now , NBA standing .. i think they team be in the playoffs n try to go to the final okc .

    Im sorry, i dont believe for a second any NBA team is choosing chet over wemby if they had the opportunity to choose. Chet is good no doubt, but Wemby's 8 foot wingspan is an elite asset that few if any teams have. He was literally intercepting all of Jokics passes during that nuggets game with his long ass arms. And Wemby has proven to be a better shot blocker and defender so far as well. Chet is more of a porzingus type (which isnt a bad thing at all). But the league has seen his kind before. Wemby is definitely his own thing and brings advantages to a team that chet could never bring.

    And when the stats are this close despite wemby being 2 years younger, its really not even a comparison at this point anymore. Ive never heard any ROTY debate bring in efficiency in my entire life until this year. Outside of offensive efficiency, Wemby is leading Chet in everything. Especially rebounding which Chet should be better at. Hell, if people want to talk about efficiency, why is nobody complaining about an "elite shooter" like Damian lillard, who's a veteran, shooting worse than Wemby, a 19 year old rookie this season? But Dame, a supposed future Hall of Famer gets no criticism, but Wemby, a rookie who's shooting better, does? It's just stupid.

    I really like the argument that they are in different phase in their career. I think that only speak on how someone in the EU is treated in development and the us, where if you show you have the skills you will be put against grown men but here you are forced to go through college. But I believe they will still be comparable in 2 years as well.

    The 1 season with the Thunder argument is stupid to me. Chet spent most of that time in a fucking boot. He wasn’t doing NBA conditioning. Wemby has been playing PRO ball for a couple years now. That’s better practice than college. He was playing against grown-ass men.

    People are just following trends and the media. They were fed that wemby is the next top player in the nba. Just like with fat useless Zion. Wemby is just a slimmer , more agile version of gobert, better shooter. That’s it. You can see him running offense defense like a gazelle lol scoring 12-15 points at most. That’s about it. Ppl should understand that and stop believing what ppl tell them. Watch what you see. He kinda sucks. Just a block party guy

    Bron was a year younger than Melo, 2 or 3 years younger than Wade and Bosh, and he won the ROTY. Not hating, just saying. AnD FWIW, Bron didn't make the ASG as a rookie.
