The Nets are one of the best team players I've seen. They remind me of the Bad Boy Pistons, of course, without the bad. The Pistons had one great player, Isiah Thomas. But the Nets don't even have that.

Of course we need a point guard to replace oft injured Ben Simmons and I'm becoming concerned about Dennis Smith Jr. repeated back issues. It'll be crazy to let Dinwiddie get away. We have to re-sign him not only for his skillset and reliability but also because he's a culture foundation player that leadership is needed for the developing players.

I don't want to change a thing this season. We've got plenty of depth to withstand injuries. We've got lots of young players to develop. Our 3 rookies are barely going to see the floor outside of Long Island this year. If Dariq develops quickly they could consider moving LW4 or Royce O'Neal, but I'm happy keeping things going and developing with more games together. This road trip is going to be a big turning point for us. Teams get a chance to really bond on a long trip like this. If we can win at least 2 of the 5 we'll be in great shape.
