How The LA Clippers Avoided Embarrassment

The LA Clippers faced a tricky task on Monday night, when they played against the shorthanded Portland Trailblazers. It was an offensive barrage from both teams, with Kawhi Leonard and Anfernee Simons exchanging big buckets. But how did the Clippers pull it out and why did they struggle so much against such lowly opposition?

In this episode, die hard Los Angeles Clippers fan and Host Darian Vaziri goes over the strange game he was in attendance for Monday night, the play of Kawhi Leonard, and how the team performed individually and collectively.

  1. My guy always on the hustle! Appreciate you putting out content even just hours after the game, talk about consistent! 🔥🔴⚪️🔵⚫️

  2. That game gave me a headache. Leaving guys wide open because they keep cheating on D. All these players out for the other team. Smh. What’s going on with Bones ? Street clothes. Is he about to be traded or something?

  3. Appreciate the early content especially as a East Coast Clippers fan, always a good day when I can start with the locked on Clippers podcast ✊🏽

  4. Good observation with the good free throw shooting late in the game. I do believe the team is a reflection of the coach. Ty coaches up and down and the team plays up and down. Paul George need to stop taking difficult shots when they aren't required. First quarter we got almost every basket in the paint easily yet George comes down for a contested pullup three pointer. Low IQ play in my opinion. This team needs to develop a killers instinct and put teams away. Shout out to Hardens defense. Kawhi is a boss on both sides of the ball. Overall on offense we were pretty good but there was a dip in the defense, i'll take the ugly win regardless.

  5. It's actually quite good when you have close games against inferior teams. It's good because you can practise how to win close games.
