I think the in season is good because it catapults be teams chemistry and reminds them what standard they need to play.
Also the winners should get 3-5 extra wins. So gives them a higher advantage for a higher spot for the playoffs.
It would make people treat the in season like something actually worth competing for.

In reality he could average 3/4 of this statline. 30 and 15 for AD, plus 25 7 and 7 from Bron 15 and 5 from DLo n Reeves. Thats 85pts 25+ rebs, and 17+ assists between 4 guys. They will be contenders for sure.
We reward players who plays good on offense and horrible on defense. AD is the opposite of that player. He brings it every game for the team, but he does it on Defense. This defense is #1 right now. Without AD it's #29 easily. So like offensive players exert all their energy in offense and suck on defense. AD is doing it the other way. Exert his energy in defense and suck sometimes on offense. So it's a Matter of perception
They should shorten the season, to elevate the intensity of the games.
