Tari needs 20 – 25 minutes every game!
I think they should have practiced and talked over beforehand how they should attack such a tall walking mechanically designed stick that intercepts the shots around the rim. Small players would need to draw him to the perimeter and then go through his legs to go past him.:)) . It is not any fun to watch the walking stick. Apart from the height and wingspan, he does not have any skill at all.

Jalen proved himself to be void and null force in that match. His problem is that he does not use his brains at all.

Overall ugly game but Dillion Bricks (%8 ts) was the only player with negative impact (-8,3) at Houston side, he should have got benched at some point.
Tate should have closed the game, his impact (28.9) with 9 min he got was Tari level (26.0), and he shot well (%125 ts).
This was a awful game nobody could hit there shots if it wasn’t for Tari we would have lost this game.
I’ll give Pop credit I think putting Wemby at the five affected us because we couldn’t get to the rim. Also he doubled teamed Al P and he dared us to shoot from three which it worked since we aren’t a good 3 point shooting team.
Luckily our defense and the spurs being equally as bad helped us maintain the lead till Tari came alive in the fourth.

I wanted to root for JG this season but the writing is on the wall. Is it too early to give up? Possibly but it’s not looking good.
With Amen returning the minutes he'll get shouldn't be deducted from specific players, whoever impact the game more positively should stay in the game, and whoever fails to perform should get benched. Some rotation minutes should be flexible, not assigned and should be assigned within the game, and better in-game players for that specific match should get them, while everyone getting their acceptable minimums.
If Jalen doesn’t step up, Cam might be the guy to take his spot as the starting 2. Move Jalen to the 6th man role for scoring with amen as PG. those two would be fun running the bench unit and the fast breaks are gonna be nasty

I never thought that I would want to forget a win, but I was wrong. That looked like a bunch of middle school kids learning how to play organized basketball for the first time.

Jalen has to move his mom and sister down to Houston and have them at each and every single game.. bc he stayed locked in that night when they were at TC
Also since Jalen and Fred don’t seem to be a good fit together in the back court we should get some more mins of Amen and Jalen to see if that could fit before it’s to late
Vegas line was 9.5 Hou. We won by 11… and held them to 81 pts. To me we dominated them. Idc how our offense looks. We suffocated them

I’m really getting sick and tired of 5 out offense my god it’s hard to watch regardless of what team you root for. All we do is pick and roll and ineffective half speed DHOs. We need to get true off ball movement against non switching teams. Cmon Ime.
I really like the 2nd unit – Holiday and Amen seem like a complementary pair in the backcourt that can cover each other's weaknesses with their strengths. I want to see more rest for the first unit – its a long season and injuries are going to happen if we don't get some rest for them – especially Fred. I'm not sure what to do with Jalen, he just doesn't have the mentality needed for an NBA starter. Hopefully he can change his mind set if we just take the pressure off and let him develop at his own pace. Tari getting Jalen's minutes is something I've never considered – kudos for Udoka being creative. I'm stuck in the old school mentality of 5 distinct positions and that's not how the NBA works anymore. 20 games in and they are playing better than I thought possible. They still need a big man and some perimeter shooting – – can you give us a quarterly report on mid-season trade possibilities? It also occurred to me we have players that were supposed to fill these roles – can you give us any kind of report on what's up with Landale & Bullock? It also occurred to me that we have Victor Oladipo under contract. Is there any chance he will be able to play again in some capacity – 10 minutes a game or something? I've been counting him as salary for trades but if there's any chance of him playing again he would really fit in with this group.
