  1. Spurs are basically unwatchable. Wemby is the only thing that somewhat makes watching the spurs kinda enjoyable. This team head to toe outside of Wemby is absolute garbage. They have no direction, no identity. That is all coaching, the lineups and rotation are horrible. how does a team shoot 5/41 and the coach doesnt tell them to stop shooting the ball and put the ball on the floor.

  2. All we can do is hoping that the back office trully have a plan with the development of the rooster 'cause right know everybody can see that only 2-3 players in team are playing at the level of NBA starters. I only hope that they have a plan that they shared with the players because if not Wemby will leave just like Kawhi did. Wemby wants to win, lets be honest he can't win with the actual rooster and if by the end of is rookie contract the team is no way near from at least conf finals he will probably have a lot of offers from teams that can actually go all the way to consider.

  3. Mike Budenholzer would be a better coach for this team. He coached a generational talent in Giannis and made him into a top 2 player in the NBA. Bud knows how to scheme defenses, Hell even Mitch Johnson would have this team looking better than what it is now. The GM is bad, this is the worst put together roster i have ever seen. Spurs have been planning on getting Wemby for years, and didnt go all out on pairing him with a decent pg, thats terrible management. Terrible lineups. Jeremy Sochan wouldnt start at pg on a bad D3 team. And youth isnt an excuse here OKC is just a year older and playing 100x better.

  4. This season has been disappointing for sure, appearing as if they're a worse team than last year, but Wemby seems to be getting more comfortable with playing center. Even though his shooting efficiency is poor, he's putting up big time numbers.

Zach has been a disappointment. Understandably, everyone wants to draft a PG, but the 7'-1" Sarr from France would look nice alongside Wemby. Both with Elite Length, Athleticism (for their size), and ability to stretch the floor.

And I doubt that Immanuel Quickley would be a perfect fit, but at least offensively there would be improvement. And he would take pressure off of Devin and Wemby (giving them more space to work on offense). I doubt a in-season trade for him would happen but that would be exciting to watch, IMO

  5. It would be foolish to deprive Coach Popovich and his staff given their history of player development a chance to help Victor Wembanyama and the other young Spurs blossom.

Thanks to development in the Spurs system Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili are in the NBA Hall of Fame with David Robinston and Tim Duncan, and Kahwi Leonard is a marquee player and likely future Hall of Fame inductee.

Tony, Manu, and Kahwi are just a few NBA players whose greatness emerged in the Spurs system.

Of course it's hyperbole, but the Spurs system produces great NBA players like McDonald's produces burgers.

  6. Keldon unfortunately is the odd man out. He play style is for someone that is 3 inches taller and has longer limbs. His defense is questionable as is his 3 point selection. His heart is bigger than his body but he is a great trade asset. For us he should be a 6th man.

  7. Get rid of Zach collins and POP can’t have Wemby on the bench in the 4th with 6 minutes left. Every damn night. Zac collins is the worst btw.. horrible paint presence

  8. Man clan I’m tired of all these fake no basketball knowledge having Spurs “fans” 😭🤣 go back to watching soccer and drinking modelos 🤡 or go watch Taylor swift and the NFL smh talking crazy “fire him”, “trade him” 🤦‍♂️

  9. I would consider bill lambier as head coach, if i was in charge of the spurs. Same no nonsense coaching, plus multiple chips as a player and in wnba. Plus that dawg leadership we need in the near future

  10. Even on 12/15 most of the trades are rare and minor. GMs play cat and mouse until February, so even if the Spurs try to make a trade on 12/15, most GMs are gonna respond, “interesting offer. Thanks for calling. Let me get back to you.”

  11. Many Spurs fans, including myself, were angry when major sources said that the Spurs would have few wins this season. Clearly, we were wrong, and if we're going to remain angry, we should be angry at our own ignorance.

  12. This is ridiculous.. This shit is not cool .. any other coach would’ve been fired .. Pop is on some weird shit idc idc idc

  13. The Cavs made several trades during LeBron's rookie year to reshape the roster around him. The Spurs need to do the same. Maybe not big moves — these are the overly-cautious Spurs after all — but some kind of move to bring in a steady ball-handler/decision maker, no matter the position. And to clarify — R.C. Buford IS NOT the GM of this team — Brian Wright is the GM. This roster is on his head and has been since 2019 as R.C. has undoubtedly been spending the majority of his time, as President of the Spurs, focusing on the Rock at La Cantera. And since BW wasn't around for the dynastic build, having made his way over from Detroit (which is in a similar mess under Troy Weaver), he can and should be held accountable for this roster.
