i think sixers are definitely punching above their weight – especially with carrying tobias harris currently making a ton of money and contributing very little
What’s your one takeaway about the 2023 Sixers so far?
I think they are playing at a High level and If they didn't have Kelly missng those games they would be the best team in the East
The Sixers have played right at my expectations. A couple losses are due to stars being out. I thought the Sixers were contenders as soon as Nick Nurse replaced Doc Rivers.
I thought the Sixers could win last year but they went into every series without a coaching advantage.
Philly is in a good position but I think they need to look more towards Kyle Kuzma & Lauri Markannen over ANY ball dominant guard. Keep the ball in Maxeys hands

I would not want Lavine but if the Hawks keep slipping and want to rebuild at the trading deadline, I wouldn't mind trading Tobias and his expiring contract to the Hawks for Bogdonovic or a couple other pieces it appears the Hawks haven't used well. Bogdan can score and can play a role. We don't need a 3rd star. We need a 3rd good player and I think Bogdan can be that if the Hawks sell.
6'5 can play the 2 beside Maxey. Shoots 40% from 3 and almost 47% from the field and another above 90% FT shooter.
I am making the assumption that the Hawks will blow it up but I don't think that is a stretch. They have declined 3 years in a row with this same core.
Yeah for sure. Once I seen we were getting Batum n cov, then traded for Kelly and filled the wing, I knew we would be a 50 win team. I always said all embiid needs are a few mid wings along with maxey and we'll be fine. Sometimes ppl forget how good embiid is.

Tobias is the trade chip they need to be focus on moving maybe add a young player with Tobias like Springer or K Martin and a 1st to make it more enticing.. Moving Morris for another role player ain't going to get this team over the hump they need a splash.. but I'm not sold on Lavine..still think Toronto or Utah is gonna blow their team up around the deadline.. To me they have better options on their team then the Bulls…. Would luv to get Caruso but not for 2 1st round picks. Sixers just need to be patient because Lavine and that terrible contract ain't it… IMO
Overperformed easily. I thought this season was gonna a be throw away.
If healthy and if the Sixers make some good moves they don't have to make great moves… just good they can make a hell of a lot of noise… I do not think you add another Superstar to this team… because that stops the growth Tyrese Maxey… I like Alex Caruso… and maybe OG anunoby… do not I repeat do not go out and go try to build a super team… the super team days are over… now with Tobias Harris he's a good role player but he's a liability on defense especially in the playoffs we have to let him go…
If we can i would like to get OG or Derozan because he is the mid range closer we need in the playoffs
A lot of things need to happen, most importantly Embiid’s health in the postseason.. but with Nurse, the emergence of Maxey, MVP talk in the rear view, solid supporting cast and whatever magic Morey can cook up.. I think this is the most ready I’ve seen Embiid for the run we all know he can make..
Lauri,OG,or Pascal would be great for the Sixers.
neither. They have had a couple of these blow out games. Lakers, another one I think. And then , they are terrible. Then they are doing allright. I think for the season overall though, they have exceeded exceptions thanks to Oubre Jr and maxey stepping up. Honestly man, if we can trade Tobias or drafts and get a decent piece we can contend for sure. Like Tobias the person, but his basketball frustrates me. Just catch and shoot the ball. Just drive to the rack and dunk it. Instead of this whole ballet and lady like finess stuff js.
Tobias is the definition of positionless basketball. He's positionless in that there is no position for him in any lineup.
Sixers might not be a championship team but they are good enough to beat any team on any oven night and that makes it fun to watch
If the SIxers have a chance to get OG, they better get him
