Smh. I feel like this show gets worse by the episode. Let’s clear something up. This team is never going to be high in assists this year. The reason is pretty simple. They favor two pretty direct styles of play. The first because they have all all stars is to simply get the ball in the guys hand with an advantage and let him cook. So the right play in this case pretty much comes down to an entry pass not for an assist but to create advantage. The second play is the hockey assist. We have multiple guys who drive the lane, make a good kick pass, and that guy passes it to the wide open guy. The direct assist is kind of non factor this year.
The only thing I still feel like we haven’t fully unlocked is pace and transition. We are too good and have too many weapons coming fast downhill to play so slow all the time. They figure that out it’s over for the league.
