"Ugly" is shooting 500 step back 3pts, not playing actual defense. The way we're playing is beautiful
They finally got their identity back. Coming together on the court as a unit, as a team, as one. Through the frustration they united and kept the defense.
Holding offensive juggernauts to less than 100 pts is magic basketball and it all starts in their energy. We might be up 10 point by halftime, we might be down 15 by halftime. Thats the unique thing about out team. Is that we can play hard-nose defense for 4 quarters and through starters to 3rd string units. We can keep it up for the whole game. We don't play ugly, we just play harder than anyone else
The reason this team works is because of CHEMISTRY. These guys love each other and it shows up on the court.
Not the prettiest win, but a dub is a dub. Our boys played with poise and did not allow them to come back into this game. Proud of our growth and excited for the rest of the season. Not to figure out how to keep guys healthy
