Remember no one wanted Kyle . Miami only took him because they have a good relationship with raps . Now paskal is a good bucket getter for raps but he is not a good fit for many of the other teams. There is a whole school of new young players that can adapt to any system . Paskal is the past with limited bball iq. That is the why paskal is not in a buyers market.

Rogers/Bell are such crappy owners. They have DEEP, DEEP, DEEP pockets as a result of gouging Canadians for cable, phone, mobile and internet services, leveraging the Federal CRTC's mandate to keep foreign carriers out of the Canadian marketplace. Yet, with all these baked in advantages that have them literally swimming in cash, they pretend that Toronto is a poverty franchise and perpetuating that in sports media entities THEY OWN. Why can't we sign Siakam? Why couldn't we sign Fred? Why can't we sign OG? We can certainly afford to do so, and as a fan, wtf do I care if they are past the cap? I don't think Warriors fans give a second thought to Joe Lacob's finances. Why do we? If Masa can't get the owners to open up the cheque book and treat this franchise like a top 5 NBA entity, then why bother with this team? Honestly… why do we bother with a team owned by those who only see us as cows to be milked for profit?
If Siakam fixes his free throw %, then he is a great player. He is powerful in defense but when it comes to FT, there is a large room for improvement. I hope he finds his groove.

I said it before the season. Siakim never got extended because he wants super max money. This is percolating now because everyone is seeing he won’t be all nba again so most he can get is max money which is more in Toronto than anywhere else. Also I’m sure Siakim sees trade rumours and without a contract he will be dealt before the deadline so we don’t lose him for nothing. So now Siakim is also on the hot seat

After the max contract, next step is trade or he retires with Toronto. At 29 years old, he's on the final stretch of his career. If he lasts in the league beyond 35 years old, he'd be an anomaly. You can't do better than max, except maybe a "higher" max? Yeah, not happening.

Smart move, i dont get why fans didint think this was the most obvious outcome of all of them. Siakam is very good, the dollar amount was obviously a sticking point. Clearly teams want siakam and because of that we will resign him and look to make future moves for the team. Most fans here are so clueless though, theyd trade him for AJ griffin and a bag of popcorn just to say they made a trade

I wouldn't be surprised if we deal og for a few picks maybe try to get a first rounder next year. Love og but it might make sense to set us up nicely for next year.

Let's talk about his interviews, over and over again he's either over dramatic and shows he doesn't understand the game. Players not just him, he's one of the reasons interest in this team is going down hill. MLSE is I'm sure noticing this.
I'm neutral on him, he's had a good year his+ in game have proven that.
If treated we need to get back value for him i agree, we can't just let him walk for nothing. If we sign him 20-25 million range per year. We sign him close to 40 mark, waive good bye to are future stars.
