Listening to Joe go in depth on these answers is really great. He breaks things down for you and explains the how and the why. For example, his answer to Jaylen's lack of assists by pointing on the "potential assists" gives you a glimpse into his mindset and shows how he values his players. He has talked about building our identity and our mentality all year long and that is going to pay off big time come playoffs. 8-4 in clutch time wins is a huge indicator at the toughness he is instilling in our guys. Lets beat the Cavs again on Thursday and thump the Magic on Friday!
Very slow ugly start to this game. Bad P&R defense, shots wasn’t falling at first but they stayed poised and got back into this game. If this game showed me anything it was how gritty this team is, to withstand a UBER HOT cavs team that honestly looked like they couldn’t miss that shows an extreme amout of growth to not let a slow start determine the game for them. Secondly A PERFECT NIGHT FROM THE FREE THROW LINE. Every one of those free throws was needed especially down the strech

I'm so sick of questions like "X and Y was something you seemed very focused on. How important was X and Y tonight?" These sports journalists somehow don't understand how to ask questions. "How important was…" is a terrible question format that is closed-ended.

I was sooooo Uneasy when the news of the IME UDOKA scandal came out. After building what we did, I didn't know where we would or could go after that… but MAZULLA truly stepped up and his BASKETBALL BRAIN is Impeccable!!!
Admittedly I was one of the Joe haters last season. But he took a massive amount of criticism and proved us wrong. He has without a shadow of a doubt took this team to another level this year.
Calm down everyone. Joe has significantly improved but he is still not a monster of a coach just yet. He has a monster of a roster. He went from being potentially the worst coach in the league to maybe not the worst. Most coaches in his seat would do an even better job. Just like any of our starters would probably have better stats on any other team.
