You didnt discuss why Luka has matured as a leader. Kyrie is the first superstar example hes had on the same team. He's had to raise his leadership skills and how he carries himself to match that by default in order to stay the leader of the team. Thats probably a very much overlooked benefit of that kyrie trade – Lukas overall development. Not that Luka wouldnt have kept growing but theres definitely a noticeable impact.
They are looking focused and better prepared. Think they’ll win 48 or 49.

I think the team learned something in that 30-0 run… sure they lost the game , but since that run I can see sometimes they turn on defensive intensivity in key moments of the game in a way I did not see they do earlier the season or previous seasons

That OKC loss is a team-defining moment, for sure. This Mavs team a lot more of those games. It prepares them for the playoffs.

Dante is a great example that Europe is a good option for laying down ones basketball foundation.
Hardaway's play this year with his pop's jersey number and accepting his 6th man role has been huge for the Mavs. It seems that, like Dana said, he's gotten so comfortable in Dallas. Obviously, he does not want to be traded. He's gonna have to be consistent throughout the season for the FO to not look his way when the trade deadline comes.
