  1. Alperen was so incredibly frustrating to watch. He looked like Kwame Brown out there. I was relieved to see him sit the rest of the night.

  2. Tari is the ultimate glue guy he can defend he can rebound and his shooting form we saw it in summer league but his shooting has gotten a lot better and he was a decent shooter last year. Everytime Tari shoots the ball I have a lot of confidence he going to make the shot.

Tari impacts winning man and he really should be the first sub off the bench he needs to play more minutes.

Jabari been one of our most consistent players he turning into the player who we thought we drafted with the third pick. He becoming a legit two way player.

But yeah the starters were bad honestly if Amen wasn’t sick FVV would be on the bench too he was awful until he got going a bit in the fourth.

Al P I’m not too concern if he continues to have poor games I would be concern. But Sengun has been our best player he can afford a bad game. For some reason Biyambo just has his number.

Jalen man I love Jalen I believe in him but he just been so inconsistent. He not making his shots and if he not making his shots man he becomes a black hole on offense. The clock is ticking for Jalen man if he doesn’t get it together this season and probably next number 7 who tearing it up in the G league will take his spot.Hopefully he gets it together because we need him if we want to make some noise in the post season.

Shoutout to Jeff Green he been huge off the bench hope everything alright with him and his family

  3. its not just Sengun or Jalen or FVV. its also Ime, I fail to see more effective ways of using Sengun, instead of PnR partner or whatever doing whole game tons of screens and weird iso post up at corner. Let me tell you that its on Ime to figure this out. they need better playbooks than this. Sengun at high post is so effective, he can take mid range anytime he wants, find open shooters or drive to basket anytime he wants. if he is off for whatever reason its still ok he can take mid range shots or gets physical when he wants or when they switch. same goes for Jalen. I know its still early but it goes both ways, the coach needs to adept on players progression, static plays like 'Sengun postup' shouldn't be the Sengun only do, he is not a star player or half of Jokic yet. cause we saw it many times already, if agile and strong bigman guarding him, he sometimes gets in his head, so as a coach''s job to find better ways to overcome this instead of bruteforcing iso and expect immediate progression (as Sengun may capable of this, its too early and not optimal to enforce this on him)

  4. Jalen is more concerning. But it’s on the coaching to get them in better sets. Play to their strengths more.

  5. I watched last nights game 3 times already. Focusing on the 4th quarter. I’ll be honest, I was not super high on the Jeff Green signing. I recant my feelings on that signing today.

Jeff Green was a huge signing for us. His composure and pure professional approach to the game, pressure, and spotlight is inspiring.

What was so incredible about the 4th quarter when Jeff Green entered the game, you can literally see how Tari and Jabari’s impact on the game went into overdrive. You can see how much those two are aspiring to become Jeff Green like. Tari and Jabari look up to Jeff Green. Are inspired by Jeff Green.

I can think of no better role model for those two. What Jeff has meant to the organization this year is profound.

I’ll give Tari and Jabari major props, however I do not see this transformation of both without the addition of Jeff. We as fans need to really support Jeff and make sure he is a part of this organization for years to come. Hopefully after his professional basketball career is over he consider becoming a coach. His positive influence is undeniable.

Thanks Jeff Green for becoming a Rocket! We love ya. Keep developing these young men to become the true professional that you are.

  6. Ive been trying to hold onto some hope for Jalen green but it getting harder. I like that he’s trying to do other things like rebounding, more effort on defence and putting pressure on the rim but his job is to SCORE. If he can’t do that efficiently then what is his strength?

His handle is loose and his passing iq isn’t great
    He’s not hitting open shots
He’s not creating good shots for himself
He struggles finishing in the paint even on strong drives.

How much time does he still have left to prove he has an elite skill that he can build upon?

  7. I post 2 weeks ago to become a superstar and to become great in this league you must make others around you better and it clearly was notice in yesterday's game between the Grizzlies

  8. Alpi will be fine. But bench jalen, i had hopes he will get better and those rare super games he had blinded me. But i now realize that he is not a winning player. If he fails everywhere else he should atleast be a bucket and he isn‘t even that. He plays so weak and looks like a boy amongst men. And his off court personality gives the same vibes, always smiling cute and mumbling in interviews. I see no DOG in him sadly

  9. I just wish they brought up Cam Whitmore, ain't no way in hell I see Reggie Bullock doing the things Cam is in the G League. He'd fit perfect behind Jalen

  10. bully ball for the win! good vibes only! Cant be playing down to competition. classic trait of a losing team, which we are NOT anymore.

  11. Sengun is no MVP, and ppl need to realize that. He had some overall good games, but he is still not a player you can depend on to take a game over and win it

  12. Both Alpi and Jalen need to respond with bully ball next game. So glad we have Ime. Its a one off for Alpi. Jalen needs to put in more work.

  13. Nice job from Tari and Jabari. As for jalen green , he is not going to make a huge impact until he gets bigger. It’s just at matter of how much the rockets can take . Also I don’t like Ime benching segun , I feel at times ime has too much of a Leash on the young guys . Sometimes even if there not having a great game they still need to finish the game or at least learn how to. Finally I feel like we’re letting vanveleet off the hook cause of his 4th qrts spark but he has not had an efficient game for a while now and may I remind you he getting paid 40 million and he didn’t have a field goal through 3 qrts . He has to be better to

  14. There ahould be no double standart on accountability, starter veterans FVV and Brooks get free passes at times when they play bad.

Starter or not, veteran or not, if everyone knows that they'll sit down if they are bad, sooner or later consistent performers will come on top and be rewarded. That's how winning culture can be cultivated.

  15. Alperen was hard to watch last match I hope this is a temporary situation. We would like to see him play more confidently and enthusiastically.

  16. Let Jalen be 6th man for a while and see how it affects his performance.

Team can form a starter squad with 1 PG, 3 forwards and 1 center. There is enough shooting power in the team.

  17. Finally Tate got some flowers as well, he is playing well for the team but at every opportunity Houston podcast channels found ways to criticize him in between the lines. He's a solid piece and should be in team moving forward. He has the best defensive rating in all-nba and top 5 guy for houston in advanced metrics.

(Tari's defensive rating even better, but I guess he didn't played enough this season to be counted in)

  18. Good move from Ime to bench those guys, they were not playing well. Tari's hot right now, give him all the minutes. Jabari's improvement has been awesome to watch!

I'm excited to see how Sengun responds tomorrow in Memphis. As for Jalen, it seems like his good games are surprising at this point. I see his minutes shrinking even more if he continues his poor performance. Let's hope he figures it out though!

  19. Jabari improved so much. In the beginning of the season, his shots were not falling and he was a big liability on the defensive side. He plays solid defense, grabbing a lot of rebounds and his shooting efficiency improved dramatically 😮

  20. Sengun had one bad game in a quarter of a season, and youre worried about him? Bro is fine. You need to be worried about JG. He is bad 80% of his games since 2021
