  1. I don’t think anyone was calling Jalen Johnson a bust. Like you said he was the 19th pick, and in the minutes he played his first 2 years he looked good he just didn’t get the opportunity to show how good he was. The one thing I will say is his jumper is much improved, but anyone calling him a bust just wasn’t watching.

  2. I also hate the microwave society. Ppl expect all players to develop in three years or less. Some players take 5+ years to really find their game. Ppl are so quick to call a player a bust. You can tell they never played real sports growing up.

  3. I been believing in obi toppin and coby white since they was drafted I never changed on them when everybody did.

  4. White was a victim of to many wings, while still needing time to develop.
Ball, Curuso,Zach,Terry, DeMar, Pat Bev, Carter etc. Dude had to fight to get 3rd-4th guard minutes with vets.

  5. Obi doing well proves thibs isnt that good of a coach. Dude plays favorites and has this weird ego despite never actually winning anything. An actual good coach would’ve found ways to get obi involved and improve the boring, outdated offense the Knicks generally roll with. Knicks will never take that next step with him as the coach

  6. Obi was never a bust, he was stuck behind Randle in the rotation and Thibs doesn't even play our good guys if they're young (see: IQ's minutes last night vs. Hart's) so Obi stood no chance.

  7. Obi was never considered a bust though. I think his defense just made him unplayable in certain situations. His rebounding is kinda sus too.

  8. 4:50.. also obitoppin and tyrese haliburton are friends.. like good friends.. even their girls are good friends with one another.

  9. Obi was never a bust he just didn’t fit our system we needed defense and rebounding from him especially in playoffs and he couldn’t provide that much.

  10. Also why the hell is all the Coby footage from previous seasons unlike others and from just one game kind of ass

  11. Knew Obi was gon blossom once he got TF out of NYC💯
It’s so good that Coby finally hoopin🥹

  12. Zach hindered Coby’s development than the bulls randomly went into win now mode and pretty much forgot abt him until Zo’s injury. I was always rlly high on him and I’m glad he’s finally coming into his own

  13. Obi I never considered a bust. People were just down on him because the Knicks didn't take a guard that draft and because of Randle, Obi didn't get many minutes. He's a great fit for the Pacers. Happy for him, always came across as such a lovely guy

  14. I always believed in Coby White since the Bulls drafted him! He was my favorite prospect in 2019 and it’s awesome seeing him finally find his groove. I’m not even a Bulls fan (I’m a Lakers fan) but I love seeing exciting guards thrive in the NBA and put on good games.

I think I’m one of the few people that never gave up hope on White 😅 I just thought he needed a change of scenery, but I’m glad he’s doing this with the team that drafted him. It would be awesome to pair him up with a young, defensive big that’s on the same timeline as him (early 20’s and improving year by year) so they could be a great guard/forward duo. If Marvin Bagley was still good, that would’ve been a great duo but Bagley doesn’t even look like he has a future in the NBA at this point.

  15. coby white putting up 26-6-6 on 50%fg and shooting 5 3's a game on 50%. Those are steph curry number. Curry is averaging 29-5-4 on 47%fg and 5 3's a game on 42%.

  16. The reason why Coby white's number are low last season and year before is because he becomes smarter, focusing where he could help besides from scoring. White turned himself into two way potential, his defense,iQ,ball handling, finishing and playmaking improved a lot compared to his first two seasons.

  17. Funny thing about this I made an expansion team on 2k and obi lavine and white all on my team 😂😂 showing out too

  18. I remember when giving a player 3 to 4 years to develop before tacking them with the bust label was the norm 😔

  19. This Dude Make Predictions Too Early And Be Wrong 90% Of The Time and Always gotta Do A Video Look like he contradicting Himself 😢
