As an outsider, I don't see Lauri being traded, at least not immediately unless 2 things happen.
1. Is Jazz receives a massive offer that's too good to pass up
2. Lauri demands a trade
Imo Lauri should be traded to a contender because I've been trying to watch Jazz games, and clearly, Jazz isn't ready to compete yet. The younger players are going to need time to develop, while Lauri is 26yo which is still young but relative to NBA standards. This is the stage where players reach their apex, and then most who enter their 30s is where they start to decline.
This hurts worse than the Rudy and Don trades… but in Danny we trust. We never would've dreamed that we'd be in such good shape after those trades, and I expect that if Ainge trades the Finnisher it'll be just as good for us as the last two star trades were.

If the Jazz trade Markannen, say to the Lakers, it better be for Austin Reeves, and another player/pick combo included; however, Reeves is supposedly off the trade market.
