Everybody was feebly swinging
Their bats were fast as lightning
In fact, it was a little perturbing
But they swung with putrid timing
There were overpaid men from Cooperstown (future)
They were popping it up, they were striking them
out.
It’s a prehistoric baseball art, and everybody knew their part.
From a swing into a hit, and a slight twisting of the hips.
Everybody was feebly swinging (huh!)
Those swings were fast as lightning
In fact, it was a little perturbing
But they swung with putrid timing
There was shitty Brad Hand, and stinker Kirby Yates.
He said “Here comes the $hit toss and its gone” (sorry for the swearing I know its a family channel)
We took a pitch and made a stand, starting swinging with the bat a check swing and now we’re into a brand new count.
Everybody was feebly swinging (huh!)
Those swings were fast as lightning (ha!)
