Totally agree with bontemps. Mitchells value is higher the further away he is from his option year and you have less options on the market which means inflated value. Cavs arent getting pass the 2nd round even if by chance they get there and the garland/mitchell pairing is not it. So what are you eoing not maximizing the value. 🤦🏾♂️

I saw the Sixers as a contender after the Harden drama. Folks were so caught up in the Harden drama they forgot who was actually on the roster, and what the team had experienced before Harden got to Philly. Embiid played for like 5 seasons without a real point guard in Ben Simmons, and was awesome. Simmons sits out, and Embiid is still a beast and starts running the offense. Harden comes and makes Embiid's job a bit easier, finally gives him a real point guard and he becomes an MVP, and now he has an up and coming allstar in Maxey that plays hard and absolutely compliments him, and he's playing out of his mind. And for the first time, the team actually has depth, athleticism, and a legit coach. I most definitely saw this coming.
Bontemps is very biased against the cavs.
In my opinion, Sixers are already on the same level as the Bucks, and just a step behind the Celtics. Another quality player that's not a star would potentially put them on the same level as Boston. And to be honest, they might already be there when fully healthy from what I've seen in the first 3 match ups.
I love how the HEAT haven't been contenders for the past 5 years yet have the most playoff wins during that time 😉
