Lavine a trade candidate if he’s not expensive?

I feel like adding Lavine would complicate things. Are we going to take Monk off the floor in the 4th in favor of Lavine? If you play them both, then that’s a really small lineup with little defense. How much room do we really have to improve on offense and is that worth the salary?

I’m afraid Lavine will F our chemistry up

Avoid Lavine like the plague, just a vastly overpaid version of Huerter/Monk combination without the play making. Would kill all future flexibility.

No thanks, Huerter is making 16m, Lavine is making 40m
Who would give up shots for Lavine in our starting lineup? I would rather Fox or Keegan shoot before him, which puts him right in Huerters role essentially.

The other thing to consider with LaVine, is it would hinder re-signing Monk as it would almost certainly push Kings into luxury tax.
Getting Lavine would not make us contenders and we can kiss our future goodbye with that massive contract.
