# ​Why is the sub themed?

​ Recently, [Reddit Community Funds](https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/15484345935508-Community-Funds) and r/NBA joined forces to celebrate the subreddit’s 15th Cake Day! We’ll be organizing a variety of contests for community members to win tickets to the NBA All-Star Saturday Night on February 17, 2024. We’re also throwing a pre-All-Star Game community meetup within close proximity to the arena with free swag and food.
