Did the injuries really have a a pivotal factor in success or > the quality of players on roster.

The Hornets are not even trying to win. How I know? They haven't fired Steve Clifford yet. Sitting all those players with ghost injuries is not going to explain how much his coaching sucks. The $260M so-called superstar has all the talent in the world, but no heart. He doesn't want to be associated with a losing team so he fakes another ankle injury that he'll nurse as long as he can. What's up with Martin? hasn't played a whole game in nearly two years, why is he still drawing an NBA paycheck? It's sad to watch. I have to pay an extra $19/month to get Bally Sport app just to watch the games from my laptop, and even that's too much. Fans deserve much better than this. Get rid of the Steve Clifford "dog house" and get rid of Steve Clifford. Play the players who produce off the bench. Thank God for TRow, Miller, Miles and the ones who don't deserve my rant and those who put team first but, I'm ready to start burning jerseys.
Lebron James and Carmelo Anthony scored their career highs against Clifford. Charlotte suffers worse loss with Clifford! I know he looks the part….but Clifford isn't a good coach.
At this point it's time for Adam Silver to pull the new owners in his office for a chat to determine if he needs to hire a team monitor like they did with philly.

Let the coach finish the year but trade away Gordon and maybe Terry and force Clifford to play the young guys the rest of the way. Start planning for the next coach and gm for this offseason.
I've been a sports fan for a long time, through ups and downs. It sucks when your team is not winning. It's worse when they are a national joke. Yet worse when both of your cities teams are a national joke. It's hard in the CLT, right now. But, I am preaching patience with this team. As much as we hate excuses, sometimes there are reasons for things. This team hasn't been healthy for a long stretch in an abnormally long time. That will change at some point. Last time they had a long stretch of reasonable good health, they were a good team, on track to be a legit playoff team.
They haven't had a stretch healthy with Steve Clifford. There is a new ownership group. IMO, Mitch can go, but I'd like to see Clifford get some time this year, maybe more time than we as fans are comfortable with, to get the starters to buy into and implement correctly his philosophies together and healthy. Id like to allow the owners to evaluate the roster as it should be, with a stretch of seeing your best players play together. This team has some talent, and Clifford is not a bad coach, but if he doesn't get it looking like it should by the end of the year, let the new gm hire a new coach. This team doesn't need more upheaval and instability rt now. And, for what? A new coach going to suddenly make them healthy?
I get the desire as fans to win or at least have more hope rt now, but I don't think blowing this team completely up or even firing the coach is the move unless the players en mass want him gone, at some point.
So much hope for this team this season, and once again, the injury bug hits.
I will remember this loss as Tsunami Papi’s Revenge, dedicated to Miles Bridges. There aren’t enough crystals in the world to cleanse this team of his shit energy. I am finding it impossible to root for him. Highlight of the game was him getting dunked on by KO and not even trying to contest it.
I would love to see a 30-game stretch where I see 👀 this team is 100% healthy 😂

Alot of B. Miller's 3 pointers are off Gordon Haywards drives and drawing the defense kicking out to him for open shots. This team will implode if they trade Hayward and get nothing in return but future considerations…Nobody else moves the ball not to mention he guards the other teams stars and does a good job on DeRozen Jimmy Butler and Tatum types. Do you wan't to lose by 50 on a weekly basis with no Hayward.
Sad franchise. Limited talent, which keeps getting injured.

Sixers beating several teams like this… There's not a move that gets us in playoff contention without LaMelo. Just Stay the course. Get minutes for Nick, Miller, and the future. Trade the vets High. SPEND TIME AND EFFORT ON SCOUTING FOR THE DRAFT. Look into more international picks for once. Last 5 years have seen international MVPs. There's an untapped resource for the Hornets to come up. SCOUT. DRAFT. Then pay for Free Agents.
Clifford aint the probelm not even close. The 3 highest paid coaches this year has a combined record of 18-59. Its mitch plain and simple

they have been bad for years….I didn't think it was possible for a team to be this bad for so long. Bob Johnson didn't care, Michael Jordan didnt care…why does no one care to put a product on the court that fans can be proud of. But both owners pockets got fat off of a growing cities fans having hope for a NBA team in their city. I have a hunch the new owners care, they just took over too late to make changes.

The fitness and medical staff in particular obviously are crap too. Mediocre physical condition provokes injuries, and I no longer believe in coincidence or curses in Charlotte. Not with this amount of injuries and severity of injuries, consistently over such a long period of time. Fatigue fractures like Lamelo; is he 70 or what? And they send players on the field too soon after injuries, you saw that with Ball and Martin. Hope they don't burn out Williams too, he'd be better off sitting out for a long time and making a full recovery.
Hornets need new coach and GM. Play winning basketball next season to attract free agents. Who is coming to Charlotte now to be part of this?
If we really do make a tabula rasa here; where can we get new players? Who do you think we could use at the moment and would like to move to Charlotte? Draymond?
Seriously, how do we do that? Trading is all well and good, but it involves multiple parties. I mean, life is not a pony farm, you can't just pick and choose what you want. And trading scrap for gold probably won't work 1:1 either… Although, so far the other teams have somehow refined our supposed scrap, so it will probably be down to you coaching and managing…
