They need big Center as back up big.
I try not to complain about refs because I believe it's their jobs to keep the game under control so players don't get hurt. I stopped watching after the 3rd quarter because it seemed like they didn't care if the rockets players got injured and were only protecting the Bucks. That's THIRD quarter I was feeling that, apparently things got worse in the 4th.
Tate is the kind of player you want on your team as a luxury bench player if your team is already a contender. If he spends the offseason improving his 3 he'll be a useful piece for years. But he has be guarding 1-3 not 3-5. Bobby Portis Jr is too tall and too good of a shooter to be guarded by Tate and there are many other bigs that can shoot over him when face up too.
He's a good defender with active hands, but he built a reputation of being a very small 4 and he's nooooot stoooooop putting him there. The problem with him on the rockets is the there are at least 2 players on the team that bring everything he brings, Dillon Brooks and Tari Eason. Dillon is just flat out better, and Tari is still tapping into his potential.
Rockets need a strong & taller back up center, landale is to slow and weak.
Jonathan Isaac is a lot better than landale center, he can shoot 3's and strong post player.
Terry Rozier and Nick Richards for Oladipo's Contract, Jae'sean Tate, and Jock Londale and a 1st round pick next year (Either ours or Brooklyns). Nick Richards can be a backup big for Alpi for the next 3 seasons before he leaves for FA. Terry can be our scorer off the bench. Richards contract might be too team friendly for Charlotte to let go of though.
For Charlotte, I honestly don't know what direction that team is going, but an extra 1st round pick couldn't hurt them right ….. right?
I think what EF was tryna say is he got those Tmac lazy eye look instead of soft eyes 🤣
