  1. In before the idiots going “I like Austin Reaves, but he isn’t even close to as good as Zach Lavine” without any consideration for the contract sizes

  2. Swaggyzilla69

Pass on Zach Lavine in general, he doesn’t fix any of the teams issues

  3. Street-Common-4023

This is random and not apart of the post but this stretch of games is important.

  4. CrobraCrommander

Thank you Lakers for not being that dumb.

  5. satangod666

cmon man no one wants lavines shitty contract

  6. Reaves is off the table, also they don’t even have a player so good that we’d have to really think about it

  7. blacPanther55

If a better player than Lavine becomes available Reaves is gone

  8. Bulls are crazy if they think they are getting AR, beggars can’t be choosers

  9. flowermoon24

im also not sure bout zach lavine, if you trade for him you have to accept the fact that hes your future… 3 years left in his contract or something.. 40 mil per year plus his injury issues? not so sure about that

  10. This feels like the same post being reposted for the last three weeks now.

FO making a huge mistake if they include AR in any trade deal now and in the future.

I need people to understand if we trade for Lavine we’re stuck for the next 3 years. Only way I’m even considering it if he comes with 2 unprotected picks. 1 for taking his deal another because our players combined is better than him.

  13. Formal_Steak_4023

If i see another Lavine post… and if they actually trade for him…

  14. They should’ve done the deal for Westbrook for Lavine a couple years ago. We don’t need him that bad to
    Give up Lemon Daddy AR15

  15. velphegor666

Stop trying for zach lavine, with how we let guys score, lakers need much more defense than offense

  16. Ok_Handle_601

All my homies love Reaves. I hope he’s a laker for life

  17. LudwigNasche

Lakers are right not including Reaves, but this sub experts that were adamant Harden was a declining cancer may be happy to see him dropping multiple 30 pts games with double digits in assists.

We are talking about guys that are a lot better than players we are willing to deal.

Thank fucking god. Getting Zach Lavine with that contract dooms this team. We moved away from dumbass roster construction and were lucky to get out from under Russ, please Pelinka stop doing that thing where you ruin the team for a year.

Although LaVine is a much better player than AR, I think that giving up AR (and more) for LaVine will hurt the Lakers more than it helps the Lakers.

**What the Lakers want to do is keep three components that currently work–**

    * Bron and AD at the helm; Bron switches between scorer and playmaker, AD switches between defender and two-way star; both play at MVP-level for stretches

    * AR is the spark off the bench; he scores and he hustles

    * Cam, Vando, and AD anchor an energetic defense

**– and then fix what doesn’t work:**

    * no reliable tertiary scorer

    * lack of playmakers when Bron is on the bench

    * lack of 3-pt shooters

    * lack of quality bigs to take pressure off AD

**LaVine does help, but only if you keep AR.** You don’t want to give up one of the team elements that currently works in order to get another good thing.

**You gotta keep Bron, AD, Cam, Vando, AR. Everyone else can go, if needed.**

Reeves been boosting his trade value. We can get better for him

Somewhere out there a decent trade for Lavine exists but lets be honest it needs to include draft picks, middling prospects and taking on a bad contract. I just dont think he is being swapped for good young players. Coby White is a good young piece for the Bulls at only 23, to me that is the Bulls timeline to compete.. years from now. DeRozen gone after this season. If they trade Zach they need to trade Vuc as well and then they can rebuild.

Should invest their time into making Vanderbilt a 3 point shooting machine. Guy should be in the gym every day putting up 3’s. He gains minutes for defense, but loses them in cases when we need offense to get shit rolling

  23. suoinguon

potential trade deal. They see great potential in his skills and believe he can contribute significantly to the team’s success. Reaves has proven himself to be a valuable asset, and the Lakers want to hold on to him. Plus, his energetic presence on the court brings a refreshing burst of excitement to the game. Keep shining, Reaves!

  24. SuperDuperSkateCrew

Good, Levine’s a good player but I don’t think he’s worth giving up Reeves. We already (hopefully) learned that lesson when we gave up Caruso to help sign Westbrook and it didn’t end well.

  25. Zach LaVine is fools gold. He is not even a third star on a championship team. Stop. This. Shit.

  26. MrGlimlach

Why the hell are we even entertaining this? Another non defensive guard? Really?

  27. mexicanmike

Lavine would be a great addition. Definitely not worth DLo and Reaves though. Seems like the market from Lavine is pretty thin, so maybe Pelinka can wait it out and get good value.
