  1. the things i would do to have a big that can stretch the floor for scottie and pascal

  2. This was *almost* a disaster of epic proportions

  3. Raptorsthrowaway1

Couple of thoughts on the game –

    **Darko**

He has been set up to fail by this front office (just like Nick was). But he seems increasingly out of his depth as a head coach in the NBA. We won this game by 10+ in the end, but going down by 11 points to this Hornets team in the 1st quarter is inexcusable and the win shouldnt paper thinly over that. He couldn’t motivate a fully healthy team to come out strong against the Hornets scraps (they were without 4 of their top 7 players tonight)?!

Im not saying we should fire him, he needs time to find his feet in his rookie year. But making the same mistakes night in and night out and very little willingness to make adjustments. Miles behind Nick as a coach.

    **OG**

He makes no sense on this team on his next contract. One of the best (if not the best) 3+D wings in the league. His low salary this year means a number of contenders can add him without gutting their roster to match salary. This Raptors team has no business paying a guy who cannot dribble $40m+.

Im not saying we should trade him just to trade him. But if there is even a decent offer on the table we need to look at it. He is absolutely not untouchable

    **Scottie + Siakam**

The only two guys that seemed to want to go to fight tonight. Scottie + Siakam with actual shooters would be a problem. Scottie ripping down 17 rebounds! Mobley who lol

    **Yak**

Did he develop crushing arthritis in his hands or something? He seems unable to use his hands at all? Played off the floor by Nick Richards (never heard of him before) tonight. The trade for Yak didn’t make sense at the time (given that we were not a Yak away from making noise in the play offs) but it looks absolutely fucking horrific in hindsight.

If this team gets that pizza party it would be truly earned. (Hornets, Nuggets, 76ers)

  5. InstanceMoney

Watching Precious get the offensive rebound in the fourth quarter, completely ignore Scottie Barnes at the 3 point line to take a contested layup against 3 defenders, made me almost turn my TV off.

  6. hyplusone

    GTJ 22pts, 10 boards, 3 assists, 1 steal, 4 threes, +25.

    Give him the chain

  7. spectacular_seamonke

imma just chalk this one up to leftover Casey Curse residue cause that was a rough one

  8. Gravity--

pizza party win streak at 1!

    denver and philly next tho

  9. OldTownYeet

Shoutout game MVP Canada Border Services Agency

  10. I just wanna see us play with effort consistently man

  11. beefJeRKy-LB

One of those wins where you still don’t feel great.

  12. SpicyP43905

Let’s make sure everyone from the GDT is represented properly.

    **Fire Masai**

    **Fire Bobby**

    **Fire Darko**

    **Trade Siakam**

    **Trade Poeltl**

    **Trade Schroeder**

    **Trade OG**

    **Trade GTJ**

    **Trade Precious**

    **Waive Flynn**

  13. IamSofakingRAW

If Siakam and Scottie keep playing well together up until the deadline I can see the FO extending Siakam and trading OG

  14. it’s so bad that I want this team to win, yet i’m perfectly okay with losses just so that the front office can see that they need to make a move

  15. Eastern-Technology84

Poeltl shouldn’t be starting. He slows everything down. Worst spacing in the league with that lineup. But Darko won’t adjust.

  16. love Scottie and hope Darko can learn to be a little less rigid with his scheduled rotations. Scottie looked like he wanted to stomp on the hornets from the jump but that was completely drained by getting benched early

  17. chrisPjelly

Ugly win. Good energy at the end. Great game by Siakam, Scottie, and Gary. Poor Scottie with all those almost blocks lmao. Listen, I know it’s the neutered Hornets and I’m sure most of us know what the team is at this point (I.e. the opposite of good), but I’ll take whatever small victories this team can take at this point.

  18. ScrewActSci

Took Darko 25 games to realize Scottie is the perfect small ball 5

  19. The expectation was to win. Definitely was not expecting to see a competitive game.

It was ugly as fuck. But take the W where we can. Need to make the Spurs pick as terrible as possible.

And one step closer to the Pizza Party! 🍕

  20. attainwealthswiftly

Small ball C Scottie > PG Scottie. Darko actually made an adjustment .

  21. This is the time to trade Siakam.
Padded his stats vs a team missing most of their starters.

  22. Reality:
    We survived the Hornets.
We also completely abandoned any resemblance of a center in order to win.

  23. This game tells us we’re at similar level as half dead Charlotte team.

  24. SpicyP43905

I rlly loved the way Plokkat Guenther played for us tonight.

If not for him our defence would have collapsed

  25. motherseffinjones

I really wonder what Scottie and pascal would’ve looked like surrounded by shooting

  26. Future-Tart

    Haven’t watched the game yet.

Is it worth watching, or should I skip it?

  27. Start Gary, fuck Dennis off to the bench. Or Jakob. We all know Gary plays well with the starters and especially next to Siakam

  28. Barnicus57

That Poeltl trade keeps looking worse by the day.

  29. I think if you want to see how well this core can actually play together you sit Poeltl and Dennis and try it the way we closed with Gary and Scottie at the 5. I’m not in favor of keeping any of these guys but if you want to see the ideal lineups surrounding Scottie you need to be doing that.

  30. RemarkableActions

Well Ill be . Great team win

    Scotty is for real folks!

  31. Glad we won this game. It is the type of the game we need to be winning. Scottie Barnes played great.

  32. Spray_Scared

Why can’t they play that way every time? Why does it take the second half for them to look like they care? Went to the game tonight as a birthday present to myself so I’m glad they won.

Every game ive gone to, they have won, maybe I should go to more lol

  33. It took 25 games for the coaching staff to finally stop playing Jak and play through your 2 best players. Maybe in another 25 games they’ll figure out how to switch on defense and that shooting is important

  34. forustree

Are you going to hear how Yak was 100% shooting percentage tonight?

  35. bukbukbuklao

We are going to lose to the pistons. I just know it

  36. smoothsoul23

Well thank god they got the win. I’m a bit worried about OG recently tho. Two straight quiet/bad games from him.

  37. TopSeaworthiness598

Can someone explain to me what’s going on with OG and his inconsistencies, and his underperformance? (Correct me if I’m wrong, not a raptors fan, just wondering)

  38. Spray_Scared

Is it just me or does Boucher need to get more minutes? I feel like he brings the energy and always seems like he does what he needs to do and does it well. I feel like he should play more minutes?
