I know the narrative of “he’s just a run and dunk man” exists with Giannis. Due to not being the shooter, or having the aesthetically pleasing looking dribble moves like other stars. But honestly that couldn’t be further from the truth. If it was as easy as just being tall and a great athlete. Guys like Kai Jones, Jaxson Hayes, and Marvin Bagley would all be stars in the NBA. There’s a reason Giannis is one of the two best players in the world. And it’s not just his freakish gifts and tools. It’s how they are combined with his skill.
Great players reach a point where what they do is viewed as expected. Even if what they are doing isn’t normal for even a player in the best league in the world. Because they do prove to do it over a sustained period of time. It becomes a standard for them. And I think Giannis Antetokounmpo is at that point. Giannis is having arguably his best season as an NBA player. And it should be talked about more.

Run and Dunk is such a wrong characterization, for a man that can literally do it all! Run and Dunk doesn't tell the story of his passing ability, his rebounds, his Defence which is on another level as most this guy does… NBA and NBA fans, have to respect Giannis more. Disrespect on such a humble guy that happens to also be the best NBA player, has never happened again!! He has broken M,Jordan's, K.A.Jaabar records, Bucks franchise records, won MVP and Finals MVP, won a title with his balls and not with a super team.His stats are insane and can't be explained. Yet there are still people out there, who say he has no skills, he is not the best and a lot of other nonsense, that make them look like fools…

Giannis is without debate top 3 in the league, and can arguably be as high as 1 depending on how much you value 2 way play versus pure offensive domination of Jokic. So if an unskilled run and dunk guy is that good what does that say about everyone else.
The only knock i would say is free throw shooting. He is an athletic freak of nature for sure, but he isn't technically sound. But by far the best finisher in the league by a country mile. This comes from a philly guy so no hate all love.

Bucks trading for Dame has unlocked another level for Giannis. Teams used to cheat by building a wall to stop him. With Dame playing alongside him they can no longer do this. That means teams have to try stopping Giannis with just One or at most 2 Players. Giannis is almost unstoppable for one or even 2 guys to stop him. If teams try to sell out to stop Giannis like the Rockets Yesterday that leaves Dame with single coverage and will go off for 39 Points 11 assists like he did yesterday. Bucks are starting to gel and rest the league (Boston included) are fukced!
It's a straight lie to say Giannis doesn't have a deep bag anymore. His midrange shooting this season is at a career high 50%. Giannis is more efficient this season then Middie King Demar Derozan whos shooting 46% only KD's (53%) has a better middie this year than Giannis.
Why do people say Giannis game isn't aesthetically pleasing? Giannis has twice as many Dunks as the second highest Dunker. Giannis has 80 Dunks in just 25 Games. These aren't easy dunks he's eurosteping from the 3pt line without having to dribble with 2 long strides to a dunk. It's the most beautiful athletic performance I've ever witnessed. I used to wonder what it was like for the old heads to witness what it was like watching Wilt Chamberlain in his prime but no longer because Giannis does things even Wilt the Stilt could never do!
