This might be unpopular. But for me, 3 weeks is too much.
And it’s a given that ince he returns, opposing players will try to rattle him more, and then he will snap again.

At least 3 weeks. He’ll miss a total of 12 games, including the last 3 he missed. A lot of analysts thought 15 games. So it looks about right.

As a human, I sympathize with him. As a Warriors fan, I hope we ship him out before another incident happens.
I doubt counseling will resolve Dray’s issue. The very thing that drives his competitiveness likely contributes to his aggression. It’s one or the other. Maybe his behavior improves a bit and he can function as a dominant player for a few more years, but I see early retirement and a move to the front office as a more appropriate situation where he can influence the team, be competitive, but not require aggression as part of his job.

I have always been a huge fan of Draymond. His basketball IQ is stellar. I am glad he is getting some help for whatever happens in his head and causes him to be that aggressive. He is one third of the reason our Warriors have been so dominant these last 10 years.

Bravo. So damn great to hear and it’s about time. He can learn to keep his aggression but at that moment when his anger-frustration starts rising he will now have some tools in his lunchbox to deal with it. This will help him well beyond basketball, he can do this.
A change of scenery could help Draymond’s mental health. Warriors should do him a favor and trade him.

The victim is receiving therapy and counseling. The league ought to find who traumatized him and bring him to justice.
Just show dray pictures of R Gobert, J Nurkic, B Clarke, D Sabonis, B Griifin, M Beasley, S Adams, M Smart, & R Westbooks for 8 hours. If dray’s not agitated afterward then he’s good to go.
At least 3 weeks? That isn’t enough time. 90 days would be adequate if this counseling is legit and he’s trying to change.
Yo I know I’m in the minority here, but If I’m drays teammate or coach I’m telling him “fuck that shit, we came this far with you being that guy, don’t change now”
But The only thing I see though dray is that you are losing the chess match out there, guys are trying on purpose now to fuck with you and see if they can trigger you to do some dumb shit and the refs are trying to kick you out of any game they can.
So you gotta be smarter and adapt rn.
That being said, the warriors need dray out there they are ALOT better with him on the floor.

Nothing against draymond. But, I feel this team is drama free now. I hope this group finds synergy and starts racking up wins. This would be our bridge to future.
As a counselor, 3 weeks is usually the amount of time to get to know a client and build rapport. Definitely not enough time to make any changes.
(But that is considering the usual 1x week cadence, it’s possible he’s seeing this person multiple times a week all things considered)
That being said hope this is something that continues for him. We’re rooting for ya Dray

NBA refs, Dumars and Silver need to take counseling too. They need to confess to selling games to the syndicate and China influencers. JR Smith was never assessed a flagrant for taking out Bogut in the finals that Leflop hosed the warriors.
