This team can never seem to be good enough to get on a roll, but never bad enough to go through a long slump.

That is a pure definition of mid.

“This is what you pay a high end role player”. That’s not what Cam Johnson is, he’s a fine player. You’re stunting the team’s ceiling by giving $23 mil a year contracts to guys like him.

The way you build organically like everyone wants to do is signing guys on team friendly contracts. That’s how the Warriors were able to do it, how the Suns were doing it, go down the line of great teams in recent history.

Contracts like DFS is how you’re able to build out depth of high end role players while being able to spend big on elite players.

DFS is making $10 mil less and has flat out been a better player than Cam Johnson. He’s shooting 5% better from 3, great defense, crashes the boards hard. He should be in closing lineups over Cam.

With the exception of the Nuggets game (which was kinda the expected result) every game has been tooth and nail till the buzzer. I think this team could make it farther than many think, if they can stay healthy.

The narrative around CT scoring being empty stats because the Nets don’t win games when he scores 40+ is just flat out stupid.
Most of the time, when he goes off, it’s because the rest of the team is ice cold, and if it weren’t for the scoring, we wouldn’t even be in the game.

  5. Looking for 2 tickets to Friday’s game against Denver. Dm please
