I salute Trae for this… I seen comments saying someone should make a video compilation of how much the Spurs players don’t pass Wemby the ball for easy buckets in the paint. Everyone who watch these games knows this and it’s been going on all season long. It’s getting embarrassing and ridiculous at this point.
Everybody in the league can see how the Spurs are not passing the ball to Wemby.
How hard is it to feed the ball down low to Wemby in the post? KJ, and DV are ball hogs, and only think about scoring first. We need a facilitator, that knows how to control the pace. The Spurs absolutely suck at 3pt shooting, yet they keep taking them. They need to focus on feeding the ball to Wemby.
Trading for Trae Young is a no brainer.
Pin this or remember my words- Sochan will be a bench player once this team is ready to contend.

The Spurs just need an Avery Johnson type PG. A solid floor general who can run the offense properly. If they can get a star guard great but I don’t see that happening without a blockbuster trade.
The Spurs players are stupid to not be lobbing more. BUT THAT IS A COACHING ISSUE. So how can Pop, arguably the coaching GOAT, not see that? I say it is b/c Pop is tanking on purpose? PATFO must be conspiring for a particular player to put alongside VW in the future.
Pop is done with little guys. You have to be 6’5 to be in starting lineup
One condition if so: Cannot include a first round from this season because I doubt we pick top 3 after.
Second condition if so: More future picks than players.
You said get a wing to cover defense. No, we would need defensive wingS plural, with at least avg 3 pointer. One good wing will get gassed if he goes two ways.
We can get bench centers in late 1st or second round.
Now I would prefer Tyrese Haliburton or SGA but they not for sale. Neither is Trae but they might pull plug if they come short again 1-2 times. I would also be fine drafting and I do like some guards in draft. Just not seeing star out the gate on any of them.

I would give up Keldon, Cedi Osman, the spurs first next year, 2 of the 3 firsts in 2025, and a 2027 1st to get Trae Young.
Trae Young would probably be worth more to this franchise than any of those other players.
A core of Wemby, Trae Young, Vassell, and Sochan could litterally be a dynasty.
Do you know how many times a yell at the TV, "he's open!!!" and the Spurs players just straight look like they do not want to pass him the ball. Wemby's hand is up, they miss him or they deliver the ball too late. Running the floor on a steal he made and you do not get him the ball on a simple lob. Wemby should be leading the league in FG in the paint and # of dunks a game. I'm frustrated when the Spurs can't or maybe don't want Wemby to get the ball. Basketball is about getting easy buckets and if you can't make a simple passes to the tallest player in the league, you shouldn't be in the NBA or at the least the San Antonio Spurs. I'm a life long Spurs fan and this by far is the most frustrating year watching the Spurs lose so many games when you have a transformational franchise forward/center that can do it all and you can't get this man the ball at the right time, height and position. PASS HIM THE BALL!!!

Trae would be horrible for Wemby's development… He constantly has the ball in his hands and would turn Wemby into a roleplayer (lob catcher/spot up shooter)
