After having such a slow start, losing Draymond Green to suspension, and with Klay Thompson’s impending free agency, Jason outlines why the Warriors should be contemplating punting on the season and looking towards next year. Jason then discusses the dominant play from Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics, and how they are in prime position to contend for a championship. 1. Steph Curry needs to play better. Shooting below 40% in half his games played is going to cause them to miss the playoffs for 3rd time in 5 seasons all while having the highest payroll in the league. Ouch.

  2. Looking at the trayce jackson Davis minutes too I don’t think kerr is done making adjustments. We always seem to go on runs with him in. He provides vertical spacing/play finishing we don’t get from any other big and is actually a good rim protector unlike looney. If we start tjd I think we should be fine. I don’t think he should victory lap u but I also think these young guys ARE ready to play

  3. casual fans: lets give JK and Moody bigger roles and they will help us win a title this year
analyst and fans with decent knowledge: our chance of getting NBA title this year is only if Wiggins be the 21-22 Wiggs and KT get back in shape. JK and Moody both are starter level players on a non-title contending team this year.

if anyone think we should play JK and Moody more than Wiggs and Klay, they should understand Curry is not getting a ring this year.

for myself, i think trade CP3+JK for a really good piece like Siakam is our only hope to win the title this year.

we can of course go the other route and play JK and Moody more this year and hope that we will have a chance next year.

but Curry is regressing slowly, i dont think JK will be better than 21-22 Wiggs next year, and Moody will be probably similar to that Klay, so we will have a worse team than the 21-22 title team, yeah, so this route is gonna be much harder.

  4. Warriors fans can be way too much. These same W’s fans wanted to trade Stephen Curry and keep Monte Ellis. Trade Klay Thompson for Kevin Love. 😂😂😂

Draymond Green’s suspension, GP2’s injury, and Wiggins’ reduced defensive play – the Warriors defense has been suffering. Let alone Wiggins (no way Wiggs), Klay’s, and CP3’s early season shooting worries…

  5. Come on, “MINUS DRAYMOND” is a huge talent loss and huge question mark. All the naysayers were not correct. They were just standing on th le lucky side of a yes/no question.

  6. What you are saying is the Draymond ruined another season. Just like last year. Rinse and repeat. Yet, you and Kerr keep saying that the team can't win a title without Draymond. Time to find a coach who can win without Draymond and who is confident about his skills to coach up Draymond's replacement. Someone who can set good rotations and isn't so stubborn with the youngsters. Are you just biased because you and Dray work for the same company?

  7. The big factor with the warriors is that Kerr & his staff are coaching like hot garbage right now! Jackson Davis riding pine is a 🤦!!

  8. Steph is basically a way better version of Dirk-post-2011 finals. The rest of Steph’s prime will be wasted on this Warriors team, he’ll put up stats they’ll have a play-in-first round-second round type of ceiling. Wiseman over Lamelo/Haliburton absolutely destroyed this team long-term. Kuminga over Franz Wagner. I mean for a team that proclaimed they were light years ahead of the rest of the league they had two huge misses in the lottery that has crushed their future. Giving Draymond a 4 year extension was silly. #FreeStephCurry

  9. Jason the Warriors know what their issues are turnovers and fouls Klay and Wiggs playing below standards it's nothing hinky like why the Lakers can't win non IST GAMES

  10. It’s not over till it’s over 🤷🏾‍♂️ GP will be coming back, the young core is looking good, Klay and Wiggins seem to be getting out the funk

  11. I don't get why everyone was hyped on Podz. He's good but he won't change the season. Moody is the guy that needs to play more.

  12. We need a better frontcourt this his bullshit Draymond or Looney is no threat whatsoever to score yeah yeah Draymond hitting the 3 looking decent but na we need more . His defense though is so amazing and his help defense is amazing too so idk

  13. The warriors next 10 games….8 are at home. This is there season. They must win 8 of 10 games. I expect them to lose when Boston comes to town tonite but the real issue isnt Draymond….its Kerr. Kerr rotations suck and he keeps going small to close games with CP3 and Curry. That lineup sucks. Kerr is afraid to bench VETS.

  14. The fact that Draymond was a problen was obvious well before his most recent suspension. You waiting until now to acknowledge that isn't "reacting to new information." It's refusing to acknowledge reality until it became impossible to do otherwise. I love your content and the show, but you have a massive blindspot for the Warriors and especially Draymond.

  15. Warriors are done!
Wasted Wiseman pick when they could have gotten Myles Turner.
Traded Poole/picks/other Warriors for Siakam – costly but only for 2022 to 2024…
Now, Warriors are old…. one man headed to the sanitarium.
Clippers rising and probably the next champions, Old guard in Denver, and Lakers, Sac, Wolves, kicking anyone down below them…
Warriors are finished wasting/taking for granted the Greatest Shooter in history…
Curry should leave, NOW if he wants his 5th ring…

  16. the coaching issues are bigger than the players issue imho, trading is doing nothing if kerr doesn't stop doing the shit he is doing

  17. There are two types of analysis: game to game (short-term) and overall chemistry. (long term). Most analysts think only as far as this year's Finals. Which is fair, that's the way all sports are structured. But reaching the finals requires BOTH. Which is why I find game-to-game projections so frustrating and unreliable. New information does not necessarily equate to the Finals. Draymond's suspension may effect a few games, but the fact that he's a thug and mental case will carry all the way into and beyond the finals (if it even allows the team to get that far). The nature of media is even shorter-term than game-to-game. It's a soap opera, in which one good game means the team is going all the way, one bad one means it's time to rebuild. This is not stupidity, it's good drama. It's why we write these stupid comments more than we write to our mothers. Hasta,,,

  18. Steph is due for a 40 point game, and I expect he'll get it tonight!! I know the Celtics are rockin' out, but the Warriors are easy to overlook. I'm picking the Warriors to upset the Celtics tonight.

  19. Sorry but your attempt to justify your opinion on the Warriors fails. If you've watched every game this year you'd have seen that they looked just as pitiful with Draymond in the lineup as they do without.

  20. What is Draymond's +- this year Jason? He has shot the ball well but overall he has not been effective.

  21. Jason been quiet as a church mouse since the lakers have lost 3 out of 4. Last win was against the spurs and bron wasn’t even playing yikes

  22. It's Kerr and his coaching staff who are the issue. Otherwise GSW roaster is decent enough to compete even for the title. They don't know what to do when young players play well. Right now its JK, TJD, Wiggins, Klay and Steph to start. Everyone can see that but watch Kerr getting confused!

  23. Jokic don't struggle at all…could've taken 30 shoots and scored 50 against Brooklyn, Dalas etc.. dude is just UNSELFISH, he is the only superstar(Jimmy Butler is similar) who NEVER takes away anything from the team…see thats how you FOR REAL make your teammates better, not by passing them the ball to make assists…
It takes special type of person to have power but to NEVER "take advantage" of that…
Thats why Jokic's team is always winning and he is the best player in the league…but CASULAS can't see.

  24. Idc what you say the last 2 weeks Anthony Davis has been the best player in the world. I still think jokic is the best player in the league but if AD can somehow continue this offensive consistency he will 1000% be the best player in the nba, we already know he is far and away the best defensive player but as of late the offensive terror he’s been on is actually rather intimidating

  25. No way warriors were gonna win a fifth one. League won’t let them pass lebron. How do you not know it’s rigged?

  26. kerr is the biggest problem.. he's still living in the past and in unable/unwilling to change.. overrated as a coach
