Jason Timpf reacts to Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets 118-117 loss to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren, and the Oklahoma City Thunder over the weekend. The Thunder get a huge win over the reigning NBA champions to prove to themselves that they can play with anybody in the league. While the Nuggets lost the game, Jason explained why he was so impressed with Denver, and why they are still the clear cut favorite to repeat as NBA champions.

The nuggets definitely fucked up, but its so frustrating seeing SGA throw up a shot in the clutch, miss, the nuggets get the rebound, start sprinting for a 5 on 4 fast break, then boom, a bullshit late whistle. Then, the next morning, you see the 2 minute report, and all it does is confirm your eyes were correct, and the foul was a wrong call that let them win by 1
