I would love to have Rubio back. His is the only jersey I’ve ever bought. I remember watching highlights of him a couple years before he was drafted, and dreaming of him on the wolves. I was so pumped when we got him. He didn’t turn out the way we all hoped, but he still was a very good player who gave his all.
I felt bad for him being on bad wolves teams, it seemed to crush his spirits. It would be great to see him as a backup on this team. Plus, he had a couple good years with Gobert in Utah, so I think it could actually work giving him 15 minutes a night.

Ricky is a Timberwolf through and through. If this is it for him, a part of me hopes he signs a 10-day contract so he can at least retire here. But considering how we kinda did him dirty by trading him the second time around, I’m not exactly holding my breath.
If he’s done, thank you for the memories, Ricky.
By all accounts he’s a really good guy. He’s been through a lot with injuries and losing his mom.
