Things ESCALATED Last Night In The NBA…

The Pelicans had the game in their hands up by 24 at home. So how in the world did things escalate to this?
While everyone saw the insane game winner, this stat is even crazier.
Morant had 27 points in the second half, single handedly outscoring 4 Pelicans starters.
Zion, Jonas, Herb Jones and CJ all together combined for only 25 points.
And while the Pelicans couldn’t find the rim in that span, Ja was cooking.
For New Orleans, it was all Brandon Ingram in the fourth quarter, but boy was it good…
And when Memphis decided to trap him at the end, watch Morant here staying in the middle between these 2 guys, and when the ball goes to Valanciunas, Ja sneaks in with the lightning quick reaction to steal the ball and save the possession.
After a pair of free throws by Jackson Jr, we get to CJ Mccollum who has to take some of the blame for this loss as he initially airballs an open 3 in the clutch.
This opens up the opportunity for Ja to do his magic.
And then here comes Mccollum again with a wide open look to win the game.
This was actually his third blunder of the game as he also smashed the backboard in the first half.
And you all know what follows as Morant wins it in his first game back with a heroic performance.
Will he be able to drag this team into the play-in race and save the season? Let me know in the comments because we gotta move on to another wild game between Golden State and Boston.
And in the end there was a real shootout.
The very next possession, the Celtics get a mismatch with Curry on Tatum and they double, which leaves White in the corner.
And just seconds later we got this…
It was as if they spent all their ammunition there because the finish was nothing but 3 point misses from both teams as they could not buy a bucket to break the tie.
This leads us to Jayson Tatum at the end with a chance to win it, but look at the defense here by Kuminga. All up into him, forcing a tough shot and a miss, we go to overtime and Steph Curry lets him know that he did a phenomenal job and basically saved the game for Golden State.
And he kept the same energy in overtime.
This catapulted the Warriors into a nice little run both on offense but also on defense because watch this:
Down by 4 at the end of the game, the Celtics need a bucket and they find Al Horford in the corner for the 3.
Now get ready for the unthinkable, because in all the mess and chaos at the end, this happens:
Golden State survive and win at home, but the madness is still not over in the NBA.
To say that Portland vs Phoenix was a crazy game would be a huge understatement as initially the Suns had a 15 point lead in the third quarter led by KD who was unstoppable.
But then the Blazers go on a huge 35 to 14 run and by the end of the quarter they take a 9 point lead.
And with this three by Malcom Brogdon the lead balloons to 14 with just 4 minutes to go and the entire arena thinks that the game is over.
Everyone except Kevin Durant.
He led a 13-2 Phoenix run and just like that, all they need now is 1 stop for a chance to tie the game.
But the Blazers go to Anfernee Simmons in the clutch…
Portland snaps a 7 game losing streak by beating the Suns and they are still stuck in the 10th place in the west. What a night, and what a season this has been so far.
That is especially the case for Coby White who’s been absolutely unstoppable for the past few weeks. You gotta check him out right here. Talk to you in the next one. Peace out.

  1. why did you not mention a 4 missed 3s in one possession from Boston? they lost couse of that tbh

  2. Man these games are scripted. They let Memphis win because of his return. As I watched that, it just reminded me of how buddy, buddy these players are.

  3. Ja is back? Immediately annoying AF just from this clip. It seems he didn't learn a thing and will implode his carrier again in no time.

  4. GSW's are the most disappointing team in the NBA rn BUT Curry is still him👏🏾 and Kuminga is a bright spot on a mostly washed team.

  5. What a great return for Ja. And he even outplayed draft rival Zion. History books are going to show Ja as the best player from his draft and Zion might show up in biggest draft bust talks. Not because of talent but because of unavailability.

  6. Hey heat check could you use your old theme song in your next video? I really think it elevates your great videos to even better. Thank you 👍

  7. The NBA sucks.
Take some more money from China!
Queen Lebron has destroyed the house that Mike built.

  8. I have watched all of your Zion coverage and honestly your content reminds me of Dragon Ball Z and you’re narrating for Zion 😂
He needs to remember that he was better than Jada. Maybe this loss to job will motivate him to get on some 50 Cent type stuff.

  9. Ja is an incredibly talented NBA superstar, and many consider him to be the best young player in the league. He is a strong candidate to become the face of the league in the future. Unfortunately, recent off-court drama has caused many people to forget just how deadly he can be on the court when it comes to scoring. He is virtually unstoppable. With his abilities, he has the potential to carry his team all the way to the playoffs.

  10. NBA Is rigged and scripted. Notice how every game always gets tied in the 4th quarter. Even with 20-30 point leads any other quarter. Stupid sport.

  11. if the grizzlies weren’t the most injured team in the nba I think we would be so much better rn, we should be getting Marcus smart and Luke kennard back soon

  12. When you see great shooters like KD airball vs Lakers and CJ here ( doesn't hit rim THREE TIMES!!! These are pros! CANT HIT RIM? )vs Grizz, you should realize that someone is paying them to miss that badly… THE NBA IS NOW WWE, HAS BEEN FOR A WHILE VIA REFS, OF COURT DEALS (NIKE, ESPN, ETC) This business is unentertaining, unless you're a child. Can't watch this garbage as a coach, mind numbingly bad. All of a sudden the Pro's look like amateur's, all for ratings and rigged gambling.

  13. What's up with the background music? It goes from sort of whimsical and light, to sounding like a horror movie, and back again

  14. Cj didn't want to get jumped after the game so he missed those two shot to not ruin Morant's return. All jokes aside tho, Ja is just absurd, he just gotta stop these antics.

  15. Wasn't a big fan of Ja acting like a thug last season (although I will admit he got a very harsh punishment compared to other players who did worse things), but I'm glad to see him back, because his game is amazing to watch

  16. This is pretty cool, bit when in 3 weeks Memphis lose three times in a row and they are virtually cooked, then everybody will forget and it will not mean much by then.
