Lauri Markkanen and the Utah Jazz struggle in Cleveland

Lauri Markkanen had a bad night and so did most of the Utah Jazz as they couldn’t stop Sam Merrill and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Collin Sexton was good but it wasn’t near enough to keep the Jazz from dropping a bad one on the road. This road trip will be bad.

  1. I don’t no really what to think I mean this was definitely a bad loss. It was one we could’ve had but that’s how the NBA goes. I think at this point I really don’t care what the stats say for Collin and Taylan when they were on the floor they are one track mind I think we should just move both of them

  2. How are you always criticizing markannen’s playmaking? It is so annoying and just wrong. That is not his role, he wasn’t forcing shots. He is a willing passer but it is tough to pass when you are surrounded by selfish guards. He needs to be the scorer on this team.
Tht put up selfish numbers… doesn’t run the offense. He is not “confounding“ This entire offense is one action and just iso. your “analysis” is just looking at the box score and trying to draw conclusions off that. +/- is a noisy stat in any single game.

The defense was atrocious. Offense flat out stopped playing with movement and force.

  3. Now jazz looks like a team whos abilities should duffice to get .500 so win-loss pattern is kind of expected. What bothers me is not using the whole roster. Our strength supposed to be team depth and we play 9 guys, like we are a team with 4 max contracts and the rest of the roasted filled with minimum wagers

  4. Hey so does anyone really know what the injury with keyonte is? I mean the jazz are being pretty secretive and not giving a real timeline at all, maybe I’m paranoid but I think that might not be a very good sign

  5. The trading deadline is quickly approaching and I expect to see the Jazz move two to three players by the deadline. Likeliest candidates: Talen Horton-Tucker, Kelly Olynyk, John Collins and Jordan Clarkson.

With all the talk about the Jazz listening to offers for Markkanen, might they pull off another whopper of a trade? Maybe. But it's going to take a BIG offer for the Jazz to say yes to a deal. Which team has the assets to do that? OKC.
