As the NBA Trade Deadline inches closer and more of the season has been played out, the Sixers seem to be finding what they are looking for in a missing player. Sam Amick of The Athletic shed some light on this in a recent report as we are now past the 25% point of the NBA season. Sean Barnard breaks down what to make of this and his feelings on the situation.

jalen johnson wpuld be a great sleeper guy, elote athletecism, good connective playmaking similar to batum and versatile all around
Siakem can't shoot but he shoots, he does stretch the floor. He would be great off the bench. Zach however is a better choice. Real good 2 way, he can shoot and play D. Please get Harris out of here at any cost.
I feel like OGs asking price is ridiculous thanx to Masai's stubornness, and to spend all of the assets in a player that can leave in the offseason for nothing is not worth it. They should go after him in the offseason if he opts out and now try to go all in on players like Lauri Markannen and Caruso. A package of Lauri, Kelly Olynyk and Talen Horton Tucker for matching salary players and 2 or 3 1st rnd picks with 2 2nds. And Caruso matching salary players and 1 or 2 1sts and 2 2nds.
Then in the offseason go after OG, and if he doesnt want to join forces, maybe Miles Bridges or some other forward 3nD

O.G 100% is definitely the preferred go to to make us legitimate. Also we still need to address the other two needs if we don’t lock in on three types this trade season I think it’s Conferance finals at best or another 2Nd round loss. I’d much rather have Gary Trent Jr he was a beast with the trailblazers. He’s having a down year but is a dog player. They are floundering and I think that is impacting him plus that roster is horrendously redundant.

Miles Bridges was out of the NBA for a bit however he is BALLING right now and you may ask why would Charlotte trade him??? He will be a Free Agent next year and who knows if Charlotte would extend him. If it wasn't for him being suspended he would be up for a max deal. Sure, there could be a little backlash with bringing in Bridges however the man did his time just like Ja Morant did. Gordon Hayward is also a nice pickup. He can provide shooting which always helps and it only costs us 1 first round pick plus Morey will still have all that salary in the offseason!
