  1. This showed up last season too. The bench played at a better tempo and shared the ball better than the starters. Not to say the bench is/was more talented than the starters, they just played the way Mazulla wants this team to play. The starters too often fall into hero ball, where the ball sticks and the offense bogs down. It's why my only serious criticism of Mazulla last year was when he severely shortened the bench in the playoffs. After preaching trusting one another all season, he turned his back on the players who embodied that idea most on the court and in their play. Let's hope Mazulla doesn't repeat that mistake again this season and let's hope the starters get with the program and keep playing with pace and keep sharing the ball. Go C's!!!

  2. Hey John… Mazzulla is telling the team and Tatum to keep chucking 3s. So why would he bother going to the rim when he can chuck some easy 3s and also keep Mazzula off his back. And they will still win these games more often than not during the regular season anyway so in his mind there is no reason to change anything. You want Tatum to change? Get rid of Mazzulla for a coach like Udoka, that wouldn't let him play this way. And only then, the Celtics might win🏆.

  3. Jalen needs to slow down and Tatum needs to speed up. I need them to get Holiday going as well. White sometimes takes too many shots but overall his aggressiveness is working.

  4. John is saying you can not F this season, this only opportunity up. "This is it!" But yet them having a 2nd year 35yo coach who is learning by being forced to shove so many things up his brain so he can be ready in 2 seasons for the playoffs and not screw up a Championship opportunity is not a problem?! Having a Mazzulla as a learning Head Coach on this team this past season but especially this season, when this could be your last chance, is the worst possible time.

  5. I never understood the hate the bench received. Pritchard, Horford, Hauser, and Stevens are all solid. We already knew that. Now we know that Queta and Brissett are good as well.

  6. It took 1 night without Tatum for John to ask the ? Tatum is a ball stopper & a horrible 1 he complains all the time and the game falls apart every problem this team has ever had is Tatum… post up more shoot less pull up play faster.

  7. It seems as though Jaylen has cemented himself as THE Boston Celtic best player. If he continues this, he could easily be in MVP conversations over the rest of the year. Great player, hard-nosed and great dude. Let’s go!
