  1. I have said it many times, but the best thing that happened for the Celtics was losing Marcus Smart. Sure that guy can get you some good defensive plays but he is a terrible shooter and also a point guard that cannot run an offense. Also, he being in the starting line up meant Derrick had to be benched, which made 0 sense at all considering how much better Derrick is. The only player I missed is Timelord because our bench is really lacking in bigs.

  2. They fleeced nobody, they paid market price for those players, just they have been smart to identify them and had tons of assets thanks to Ainge. But a guy like White was available because the Spurs were in a different phase

  3. Theres a narrative to JT that he is an ā€œaverage to above averageā€ defender. Do not get this twisted, JT is an ELITE defender. Better than Brown no question just watch the games lmao

  4. As a Spurs fan Derek White leaving was one of the most disappointing events. But it was bittersweet because I knew he needed to go to a team that was going to contend now rather than in the future. Still one of my favorite players to watch. The guys in tangibles are off the charts and he's always hustling and making the smart play.

  5. Children of big Al. He's the mano Celtics need to retire jersey of, just for kicking Giannis back in "that" game. Great team once again, title or not.

  6. My Father BradšŸ˜…šŸ˜…šŸ˜…He can get Doncic using me, how I dont even know coz I dont even play ball. Lol Just Jokes.
All I am saying is I love Brad, from the bold decision of giving Joe the Job to trading the DPOY of 2 seasons ago. I love Brad

  7. A little misleading on the Derrick White trade. The Spurs traded him to help them tank for Wemby. White was too good and would have hurt their ping ball chances had he staryed with the team.

  8. All that talent but still a bad coach handling the reigns. It's the reason why they lost to the Pacers in the in-season tournament. He failed to come up with a gameplan to slow down the Pacers, and then allowed the Celtics to keep shooting from deep when they were super effective in the post. But good coach Darvin Ham came up with a great plan to slow down/stop the Pacers through full court pressure on Haliburton while also doubling him in the half court… Lakers win.

  9. Tatum has been awful for most of the year with his trash pull up 3 and nobody has even noticed because the team around him is so good.

  10. Just to note that the first round pick traded for Jrue was also picked up in the Smart -> KP trade. I challenge you to name the worst move that Brad Stevens has made as GM.

  11. The cumulative increase in Post play has also helped muddle an already tough defensive assignment.

4 of 5 starters are pretty lethal in single coverage.

  12. Why can't they win important games?!? Wolves, Sixers, Magic, Pacers, Warriors. Yes, I know Prozingis was missing in some of these, but it still feels they either win comfortably or loose, which is bad for a team with championship aspirations (even if they win comfortably often). Is this all a superstar problem?

  13. this is why i just laugh at oldheads thinking 90's basketball is the pinnacle of NBA. the amount of IQ and skill necessary in today's basketball is just staggering. you need bigs that shoot 3s and make plays and you need quick long guards that not only can shoot 3's but can also defend bigs. they just packed the paint with bigs in the 90's, they don't need to be skilled, they just needed to be strong. and guards would just have to shoot midrange jumpers.

  14. As a mavs fan I can just say that Porzingis moves better. Like,he runs in a more atlethic way. Is not that he was slower with Mavs but he seems more comfortable in his own body again.
