Powell, the scapegoat the team needs but doesnt deserve.
Why didn't Holmes play? I thought a key stretch of the game was when Dallas went small and Zubac became f******Kareem Abdul-Jabbar!!
I understand going small, especially against the Clippers who are small, and it was a great come back.
But I would've liked to see a strategic chess move to neutralize Zubac, just for about 5 minutes. I think Holmes can do that.
This team has an underrated capable roster, but they're still missing that backup center and a big boy 3D wing. No matter how hard they try to make it work, they're simply lacking size. The effort, chemistry and winning energy are all there, but you can't do crap unless Lively is under the rim. There's probably nobody in the entire league that can't go at Dwight Powell, he's like a tutorial level in a video game. The fans are really fed up with him this year. The whole team is upgraded, but for some reason Kidd has to play the one guy that makes the game turn into 4 vs 6.
