This is what happens when you go full on tank for years and hinge everything around drafting a superstar. And it’s even harder when you have bad decision makers running your front office.

I go to Detroit a few times a year for work. Last time my boss took us to a pistons game. We got front row tickets for next to nothing. Being a big jazz fan and going to a fair share of games in the Delta Center, I was stunned. Half the stadium was closed off with the lights off in the rafters. There were maybe 2 thousand fans (though if you said less, it wouldn’t surprise me). It was eerie. I just assumed because our fans basically sell out every game in good and bad years that that was the norm. Makes me appreciate what we have in Utah. I will be going to another Pistons game next month so I will see if that experience was a fluke
Regaurdless, I feel bad for Detroit fans. Outside of a few seasons, there is a real curse on their professional sports franchises.

Pistons in a 20-year rebuild. Trust the process 😃
