Maybe it's not the Spurs, but this generation of new players. In France we have a very well known and very great soccer player, Thierry Henry, who's now coach, who said about this young fellows "they want who explain them everything, whereas they are wrong and not, and you need to explain them kindly". Maybe it's time for Popovic to forget kindly if he don't want to broke one potential GOAT. Or maybe there is something else with Wemby behind the lockers… But for this I doubt, as I follow Wemby since he is 15 and everywhere he goes since 15, people respect and love him for his maturity, volonty and unselfishness…. I knew the Spurs was not a good franchise for Victor to go. Pop seems cool but this guy is a tyrant and doesn't want anyone to be more famous than him on the team, instead of giving the ball to Victor he tries to make him play like a role player. It's SURE that the others don't give him the ball because they are told so by Pop, he would never let them do it otherwise. Wembanyama and Şengun are experiencing similar situations. Their teams started ignoring them. Apparently there is mobbing of European players. The Europeans have been taking the league by storm lately, and this seems to bother certain players. Almost all of the players I follow in the league right now are European or foreign. When you look carefully, the Europeans in the youth teams immediately started not seeing the ball. Among the players I follow: Luka, Yannis, Jokic, Embiid, Wembanyama and Sengun. American players: Except for Anthony Davis, they are in situations where I don't need to specifically look at them. They are not interesting. Certainly, the American players of the NBA have taken an attitude against those coming from Europe. In recent months, a similar phenomenon of not passing the ball has started in every team. It's a problem the NBA needs to intervene in.
