the big issue with this team theres 2/3 guys thinking hes HIM when this is Wemby's team so when you have 3 of them trying to show off it comes off very messy as hell. They need to build around Victor get him players that understand this, only a few players I see actually get Victor is Tre, Collins and maybe 2 others but the rest think they are cooking but fail badly, they get 1 good game out 5 and think there the guy.
Pop just don't wanna hurt these guys feelings so hes giving them a shot but as you can tell the record its not working. When has Pop said "its my fault" he hasn't hes too busy laughing and hugging players after the game. One thing needs to happen, replace players or replace the coaching staff because Pop doesn't look like hes into it anymore.

I really don't get it. They are using Wemby so badly it is embarrassing. Many teammates refuse to pass him the ball. They need to understand he is their franchise player and their way to wins. I love Pop but i don't know what to think here…
when is Brian Wright going to be critisized for his awful draft choices? Semancic, primo, sochan, wieskamp. If he was on any other staff his job would be in question by now.

He is the Spurs strongest weapon & they are doing a terrible job utilizing him. Both Pop & teammates are at fault. He isn't your average rookie. He's the future of this franchise. RUN THE OFFENSE THROUGH HIM!!!!!

Young player needs repetition to improve, by not receiving the ball, he is not repeating shots, can't find his spots… I have been following him for a while, the whole year before he joined the spurs and pretty much all the games since he is a spurs, I can say that he was a better player, more confident before than now, much better shoot selection, and it's not due to nba level being harder, he is just not well surrounded and worst, seems his teammates don't trust him / don't want to trust him.
That's sad because he has good personality and is mature, so he does not deserve a sochan to not pass him the ball when he is in good position or a keldon johnson to lecture him when Wemby misses a pass or has a turnover.
I can imagine Pop to be a tough position, he needs another good draft pick but at the same time who knows the damage this bad season will have on Victor?!
Either they have the worst court vision or they are freezing Wemby out. Wemby is the number one option, everyone else is role players. Sheesh…

Il se doit d'être patient…on est d'accord par contre il n'est pas dupe, il voit bien que ses coéquipiers l'ignore dans le jeu et ça ses agents seront très bien le faire comprendre aux Spurs. Il perd du temps chez vous il aurait dû aller dans une franchise avec quelques joueurs super référencé en NBA et il faisait un malheur. Vous ne le méritez pas…. c'est à vous supporter de mettre une énorme pression à la direction pour que leur approche change radicalement

Wemby needs to stop being so humble. Its to his detriment. He needs to go into the locker room after a game like this and chew everyone out. Something like: "You're missing me on easy lobs and buckets every night. Give me touches almost every possession and if i fuck up, its on me. But theres no reason i should have the most assists and least amount of shot attempts on this team"

Popovich brainwashed the kid.
Game observations: Coaching is the Spurs main issue. At this point in the season, the players are doing exactly what Pop allows. They are not involving Wemby in the game and you can see his frustration, which he is no longer hiding. There's no discipline nor accountability with this version of Woke Popovich. Whenever Wemby touches the ball, it should be automatic for him to touch it a second time within that same possession unless its an easy bucket. Let him decide the direction of the game and not everyone else and their grandfather.
Didn't came here to see role players play awful BBall. Wemby looks tired of this shenanigans.
