Great show as always Kirk. Great start to the Mavs season.
Last year was mismanagement by their head coach.
I do not agree, I think there are 200 players in the NBA clearly better than the euroleague, and probably a 150 who are really athletic. The games are played so different, in the NBA you have automatic advantage if you can jump high and run fast, in euroleague you have advantge if you make good decisions and can fit in a system offense (all the athletic freaks try for the NBA, so the playing field is more even). Decision making is so underrated, I'd say it's the most important, guys like Hardy who have skills would be uselessly lost in a euroleague offense system. And rigid system is the way to learn good decision making.
Honestly the NBA has too much young athletic guys with hesi moves that don't know how to play the game and people wait for them to "developp". I don't understand why they don't learn how to play before entering the league. Experience matters, and you can't tell me the Pistons wouldn't loose to at least 3 teams in euroleague right now.

48:45 – The Mavs don't need offense, they're 5th in the NBA and 1st in the Western Conference in Offensive Rating, and that's without their 2nd best offensive weapon, and some of those games were also without their 3rd best offensive player in THJ, not to mention Williams, Green, and Jones missing some games too.

As much as I really enjoy this podcast, this was easily the most annoying Kirk has been. Although I do enjoy that you guys do not treat everything as sunny side up, the lack of sleep from Kirk has made him incessantly sound like a bitchy teenager. Get some rest buddy!
