  1. JJ was also drafted 11th overall, and he was a huge name in college basketball for those who weren’t watching back then. One of, if not the greatest college shooter ever at the time.

The Magic lead the Southeast Division, using a physical roster with a strong emphasis on defense. Redick is 6-foot-4, 190 pounds and has never been lauded for his defensive abilities.

    Jeez. Had to keep reminding myself that this was from 2007 and not yesterday

  3. JJ was an elite scorer, at an elite college. If that reminds you of drafting JJ, you have a glass half full approach to life. I don’t see it. No offense to Jett, but he’s not a known name like JJ was at draft time. JJ came in and had to prove himself, and I don’t feel bad for Jett at all.
