Chet isn't just some player thriving on a strong team; you can confidently say Chet is the one making the team strong. After today's performance, you can't even peg him as a rookie anymore. Compared to Wemby, it's like night and day.

Hands Down the 2024 NBA ROTY. OKC didn't make playoffs last season, but with Chet's arrival and impact are now in strong playoff position. The ROTY award should (much of the time) go to players who improve teams greatly from previous year, and Chet's impact with OKC is a classic example, while posting All-Star level numbers. Meanwhile, Wemby's stats ate empty at best, because Spurs are worse than last season, and have no chance making the playoffs again this year. Case closed.

I think he's showing that he doesn't need to gain as much muscle mass as people were initially thinking. Despite his slight frame he has surprising strength.

Chet is 2 years older than Wemby but Wemby has more points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks than Chet while playing on a team without a point guard.🤯
