@Golden State Warriors

[OptaSTATS] In each of his last 2 games, the @warriors ‘ Trayce Jackson-Davis has: – Notched a double-double. – Grabbed more than a dozen rebounds. – Shot better than 70%. The last NBA player to do that off the bench in back-to-back games was his father, Dale Davis, from April 12-13, 2001.

    Dale Davis was imo the last great enforcer of course he was a role player… but his role was to grab ten boards… knock a few players to the ground… and most importantly make sure nobody EVER messed with Reggie Miller. I don’t think ot happened often in spite of Reggies occasional antics.

    Dale Davis was to Reggie what Oakley was to Jordan early on and what Rick Mahorn was to Isaih Thomas. It’s good the NBA went away from that physical brand but i do miss that early 90s enforcer type big they were tough mfers.

    Pretty cool to find a stat like that. TJD might actually be better than Dale down the line.

    Cool as fuck. The story of his hyphenated last name is pretty cool as well.

    Warriors going to roll out the next gen lineup – TJD, Wiggins, Klay, Steph, GP2

    Do they have AI figuring out these stats? How the hell would anyone come up with:

    Double-double

    12+ rebounds

    70%+ shooting

    Off the bench

    Back-to-back games

  6. It feels like everyone on this teams dad played in the NBA.
