To clarify, this is the site of the crash which is along a public hiking trail in the Santa Monica Mountains. There’s no official memorial. A local artist made a Kobe sculpture and placed it at the site where the incident occurred, but it was recently removed for unspecified reasons. I hike up on occasion to pay my respects.
