Good road win thought it was going to be a tough game and it was as far as physicality and but I thought we took the challenge tonight I think the biggest thing was winning the the rebounding game I think 53 to 40 so I think that’s where um and

Keeping them out the free throw line Brunson three for three uh we did a good job uh I know he had 36 points but when you limit his free throws I think you got a good chance um so total team effort was good outing well Chris is rolling I like he

Felt you could tell he felt good out there um he was aggressive uh and when you see a player like that with his skill set you just try to uh leave him out there try to feed him and he was huge we needed him thought that was one of his best games

That he’s played um and he’s played some really solid games but you know I believe he had five assists to go along with it uh scoring the ball so he played a complete game and uh defensively I thought he was solid and you know we he were switching on to Brunson switching

On to Randle at times I thought he did a tremendous job so Chris was used for us tonight again his energy uh just his effort the way he impacts the game and so many any ways the offensive rebounds the stretching the floor with his Corner

Threes and we could throw it in the post and uh just fighting his grittiness on the defensive end so um you know when he’s when the the starters are rolling and then you throw in BP to continue um you know maintaining the lead and maintaining our momentum you know BP is

The best at it so I thought he did tremendous job I thought cam came in I thought our bench was solid cam came in defended ran the show hit some a couple buckets there it was just good to see him you know I thought you know he’s

Been playing well last game he had four assists but just havn’t been shooting it well but I thought tonight he he had it going for us and I know it’s tough for him you know he’s playing behind Dame his limited minutes but uh you know he’s

A veteran I thought he did a great job of kind of working those minutes thought Dre came in gave us some Second Chance opportunities so those you can’t never like undermine those type of plays that Dre makes uh just tipping it out giving us second chance opportun unities and

Just having that live body out there so you know I thought everyone that came in the game tonight uh did a did a great job of bringing whatever it is that they bring uh to the game I thought they did a great job with that especially the

Last five six seven games or so really beening imp thaton lately you any adjust no I think a lot of it is uh you know managing the game a lot of times right you got to put a defender on Dame you gotta put a defender on Giannis uh

You know sometimes they go small and they put a smaller defender on and Bobby and so he’s just trying to look for ways to uh exploit some of the matchups and it’s tough no one you know can guard Bobby down there it’s tough to guard him oneon-one he has just uh great patience

Know how to get low knows how to use his uh strength and get to the front of the rim he’s hard to stop so uh we just want to take advantage of uh of all our our we got great tools on you know pieces on

This team and we want to use them all um and so I you know that was probably a area I had to um look a little dive a little deeper into as far as like we we got Bobby down there like we could use them and Brooke and a lot of times um

You know I could do probably do a better job throwing Brook the ball down there too just just based on the matchups Bobby said after the game that he feels the team lot swag in confidence right now how does it feel for you to one of your players say that and is that

Something you agree with how do you beat off that no obviously um you know I I agree one 100% as far as I think your swag comes from the defensive uh you know approach and I think early on you know we were scoring the ball but we

Were still trying to find our identity on the defensive end but I think we we’re starting to always say you got to be strong on both sides of the ball I think a lot of times that’s where our our our swag is starting because we could score the ball but now you know

We’re finding ways to get stops we’re finding identity I think um guys know what each other’s strengths are out there on the floor and they’re making a conscious effort to to defend I hear him talking in the locker room I hear him talking in timeouts about getting

Stopped so that’s really where your swag comes from where um you know you could you can get a stop you know when it when it means the most when it counts the most I think we’re confident that our defense is starting to carry us I know it’s tough for team for you to

Beat not you specifically any team to beat another team back to back especially on their home court I’m curious does your approach change in any way in two days on Christmas day with it being prime time and you try to get a second no yeah it’s nothing changes as

Far as after every game uh you take the good you look at what you did well and then you look at U what you can do better I know tibs is going to make his adjustments going to watch the film um he’s going to get them ready to play um

He a you know somewhat quick turnaround where we playing the same team so it’s just our job as coaches to to uh again prepare them be the most prepared uh team that we can be um know it’s not going to be easy right uh but if you do

The things that go on winning you got a good chance again I thought we rebounded the ball um we know we had a few turnovers there you got to take care of the ball against them but uh keeping them off the free free throw line I know

Randall went 10 for 10 but I think overall you know when brunson’s getting 10 plus free throws they’re they’re hard to be so I thought we did the things that we needed to do um and we shared the ball on the offensive end if you do those things you know you put yourself

In a good position we doam team well listen they’re smart they’re intelligent and you got to take what the defense gives you uh there’s times when you know they’re really good at at reading coverages they’ve been doing this for for many many moons you know Dame has seen every coverage and he’s a

Master at reading and he knows his options he makes the right read he’s like a quarterback and when teams are in a certain coverage he you know he has the ability to adjust and same with Yiannis you know these guys are super intelligent uh Chris you know that’s

Something I can’t take your credit for you know a lot of times Chris to look at at Giannis they have just this you know unbelievable you know Bond of communication just over the years so uh but it’s fun to see them jelling together and I feel like Dame is in that

Mix you know you see Dame and Giannis Dame hit Giannis in a couple rows uh to the basket so they they’re getting a great feel for each other um but it’s it’s not just one person I just love how we we’re coming together as a unit you

Just Chris and asked about Chris and Dam jannis on the bench but what about the three are on the four together because hasn’t been a lot of it and you’ve been on the other side and seeing Chris getting the best perimeter Defender from the other team so what do you see now in

Terms of what he can get with matchups and mismatches when those three are together well I think again these guys are are smart smart players and I wish I could take credit for it but but a lot of times you know for instance tonight Chris saw a couple things and and Yannis

Saw a couple things they start switching a couple of the pick and rolls on their own all right they’re just Ultra uh competitors uh very intelligent um that’s what makes us special they’re like coaches on the floor um and they’re extremely coachable you know if I have

Something they you know they roll with it and when they see something you know I trust them 100% on the floor and I think that’s what makes us a special unit you know just the the trust that we’re building with each other
